I was shocked to find that it was infinitely better at ripping than my $100 BD-ROM (I knew I shouldn't have gotten a 1st gen BD-ROM). LightScribe is a bonus if you use it - just don't get green coloured discs.

Haven't had a problem burning disks with it yet. At the surprise sale price, its a bargain and even if it stops working after a year or two, its a non-issue (hopefully wont). It can burn lightscribe labels, which is nice at this price range.

It's quiet compared to a Pioneer unit I'm using. When on sale this is a bargain. I wouldn't hesitate buying one of these again.

It is extremely quiet compared to all other drives I've had. Liteons...I havn't had any real issues with they're just loud.

Pros: Pas cher lorsqu'en solde.Compatible Lightscribe.Mise à jour du firmware de Samsung disponible pour ce graveur. Comment: Ce graveur c'est du beau bon par cher et il fait bien le travaille qu'on lui demande. Par contre la suite de logiciels de Nero ne vaut pas la peine d'être installé parce qu'elle est très limité. Je préfère la suite de logiciel de Cyberlink qui est inclus avec les graveurs OEM de LG. Malgré tout c'est un achat à considérer surtout lorsqu'en solde à 20$.

It's a lot quieter than the last generation of DVD burners. It doesn't sound like a vacuum when it works, and I like that.
