Had a hard drive die on me from too much heat. I hope the this 5900 RPM model will be OK. After 2 months - filling it with 1.5 TB it is running fast - cool. So far - so good. |

I ran into a problem with Vista not able to use anything over 500GB of the HD. After much troubleshooting I found out I needed to update my NVIDIA Driver. There is a link for it at the Seagate website in the Knowledge Base. |

Great Drive!

I put this in about a month ago with no problems. It's a great drive and I don't believe I will be running out of space soon with this one. It's quiet and I have not had any problems. |

Solid Value For Media Server

Fast, reliable, and huge! And it runs up too 4000 RPM faster than WD! Comes with a CD that has diagnostic software to keep drive running strong, too! Good stuff, good price. 5 stars! |
Unit is quiet and I have had good experiences with this brand. However in my i7 based machine the speed shows when compared to the primary drive. I would buy again, that says it all.
