32GB SSHD SATA II 220MB/S
Cons:Size/Cost
Pros:Fast read/write, OS extremely stable Comment:
Purchased this to replace my previous OS partition. I'm not sure what words I can really use to describe moving to SSDs except wow. This thing is a beast. Perfect size for a Windows Disk, utilizing Win 7 Pro x64. There are too many pluses to list so I will focus only on the two negatives. Price per Gig is a little steep considering how cheap a Platter Drive is going for, but well worth the investment. I can't wait until the price point and larger volume drives come down. |

I got 2 set up in raid 0 for my new I7 860 build. they are so fast its scarry. Restart the rig from desktop back to desktop ready to go that inclueds anti virus firewall etc in win 7 is 22.5 seconds. so happy worth the money. Would be nice if less costly. |

Worth the money...
Comment:
I use this drive to boot my ubuntu system with a Core i7 860. The system boots in a matter of seconds with the OS on this drive alone. Running hdparm results in 174mb read per second vs my 7200 rpm 1tb drive coming in at 84mb read per second so over twice as fast. The drive has actually gotten faster since I have been using it as it started out at 160mb per second. I will update if the speed keeps going up after more storage and use. |

32GB SSHD SATA II 220MB/S
Cons:cost per gbcapacity
Pros:fast windows startupapplications load very fastturns atom netbook into a super pc Comment:
I upgraded my netbook with this ssd, impressed by the results, now my ssd netbook is faster than my core 2 pc with hard drive. |
The computer runs signifcantly faster with the SSD (solid state drive). The drive size is rather modest and you would probably want an external hard drive where you may have large files such as videos and picture. This is one way to improve your computers speed despite having a low voltage, low power efficient processor.I got it on sale but it is still a bit pricey.
