5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None
Pros:Cheap, small footprint, actually works well! Comment:
Did not want to run multiple cables from my router to my Tv Room. This is used to add lan connectivity to my HTPC, PS3 and my laptop as wireless is messy there. Works like a charm! |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:Really cant name one so far, some may think it looks too boxy and old style, but that's what I like
Pros:Sturdy boxing with lights for 100Mps or 1000MpsSuppose to reduce power consumption, but I haven't double checked. Seems to run cooler than my old D-Link Comment:
Ok it comings with the switch itself, ac adapter and 1 lan cable i believe. Installtion was a no-brainner. I do not notice any significant improvement in terms of network however. |

Great little switch for the price. I paired it with my trusted WRT54GL to give it gigabit capability. Simple plug and play, was up and running in seconds. Power saving features a bonus. My Kill-A-Watt registers only 1Watt with 2 ports in use. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None
Pros:CompactDoes not get hot Comment:
Well, it's a switch. There's really nothing more to say about it.It's easy to setup, because there's literally nothing to be setup on it. You just plug it in, and it works, just like all other unmanaged switches. What's particularly nice about this one, is that it has a metal housing, it's very compact and the lights aren't annoyingly bright. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:None.
Pros:Small and looks great.Provides gigabit LAN as described. Comment:
Perfect for a small, wired network. Was able to transfer files very quickly. Big improvement over 10/100 speeds. 5 ports was enough for me, but some may need more. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:Just a switch, can't really criticize
Pros:Affordable, Gigabit, Simple Solution Comment:
Product performs just as one would expect, it's also hard to argue with the price. Obviously most if not all routers with gigabit would be a better solution, but works well for giving a bit of a boost in your LAN speeds. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:N/A
Pros:A cheap 5 port gigabit switch Comment:
When you run out of ports on your main network switch, this is a cheap way to expand a single port into 5 more. I needed to add a network printer to our network and rather than try to figure out which cable was required at the main switch, I added this to the wall and plugged the desktop and printer into it. Worked the first time. Would recommend it. |

5PORT GIGABIT GREENNET SWITCH
Cons:none
Pros:simple. easy setup, solid construction, very small. Comment:
Purchased to expand the number of ports for a router at work. It works great and is unobtrusive. It is all metal, a nice solid piece of hardware. |
Not much to say since it is an unmanaged switch and does as it claims. I kind of bought this because i like its look with the 3 rows of lights. Sad day for me i found out they changed this and the new design looks plain (primarily its just 1 row of LED compared to the pic in this product page -- everything else is the same in looks). So that was a bit disappointing since the extra row gave more details. My guess though TRENDnet would just say they did it to be more energy efficient (less lights). But nah, they did it to cut costs and spike profits.Anyway, it does what it is supposed to do so i cant knock it on any thing.
