Interesting concept - adapt from VGA and connect to Component cables of any length. Very useful in theory. Unfortunately it does depend upon the TV understanding a VGA signal, or your videocard outputting something the TV can understand.I got this to hook up an old computer to a TV. The picture was black and white and ugly. It's safe to say the TV did not understand what the videocard was outputting. To be fair, it was an ancient Radeon 7500 mobile - I think the most recent drivers might have been from 2005?
