A-DATA C801 16GB Black Flash Drive USB2.0
Cons:Plastic feels flimsy
Pros:Fast enough Comment:
Got it when on sale for $30. Use it to backup. It's not the fastest drive although it will definitely out do others. I recommend when it's on sale. |

A-DATA C801 16GB Black Flash Drive USB2.0
Cons:Plastic somewhat flimsyNot very fast
Pros:16GBCap snaps on tightlyCap can also bet snapped on the back when the drive is in useSlim profile Comment:
On sale at $30 for 16GB is a pretty good deal as of today. It's definitely not as fast as my OCZ Rally, but the large capacity and cheap price makes up for it. A large and fast drive would definitely cost much more. I like when the cap is snapped at the back, it won't get in the lanyard's way. |

A-DATA C801 16GB Black Flash Drive USB2.0
Cons: None.
Pros:Not high speed but still fast. Comment:
This flash drive is faster than I thought it would be. I transfered a 700mb avi in 2min 30 seconds. My fast drive moved the same file in 1min 45 seconds. Seems reasonably well built. Lots of flash drive space for an affordable price. I loaded mine with Bootable Ubuntu and it works good. |

A-DATA C801 16GB Black Flash Drive USB2.0
Cons:very flakey, unreliable
Pros:price, capacity Comment:
Thought I'd update my review since my opinion has drastically changed. After about 32 days of owning this product (and about 2 days after the NCIX warranty expired), the drive failed on me. After a complicated RMA process with adata, I finally received my replacement today. I have had nothing but problems writing to the new device, so I reformatted the drive. Now I get different errors, but still can't get my data backed up. I would not recommend this flash drive to anyone. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-06-09 10:22 PM |
Bought 2 of these on sale for $30.00. They're not the fastest USB drives I've used but not too bad either for the capacity they have. Would definately recommend when they're on sale.
