Cons:Hard to find this sort of cable.
Pros:Works well with the HP RAID card that I purchased and is supported by the drives it is used with even though HP doesn't officialy support it. |
If you're looking for a cable that allows you to hook up SAS drives that use SFF-8482 connectors to a RAID card that does SFF-8087, this is your best option. The cable is well-built and doesn't feel like it will fall apart. Best of all, it comes with the power adapters also.
