Good Keyboard
Comment:
The keyboard worked as soon as i turned it on. Probably because I had a different one installed before but that was great. i like the onoff feature also. the install instructions are a easy read. I would give this product 5 stars but the price is a bit high although worth it. |

Does it work through walls?

I am putting all my equipment behind a wall. Will it work through a wall? How far? Thanks. |

Perfect for HTPC

Perfect for HTPC!! Compact, lightweight, good range & no issues with other wireless devices. Ii concur on the touchpad comments from UIguy; however, I would buy again and would definitely recommend to others. |

Solid Product
Comment:
My wife and I purchased this product to connect to our computer that connects to our TV in our living room. We have had no issues with our wireless router, 2.5 GHz, or mobile phones; and the range has been fantastic, sitting approx 20 ft away from the receiver. The keyboard feels fairly solid despite its light weight and as long as the numlock isnt on then we do not run into issues with getting numbers instead of letters. The only real problems with the keyboard are its cost, 85 when we purchased it the same price as a high end full size wave or comfort curve bundle, and the touchpad. The touchpad does its job just fine, however if you are used to using a high end style touchpad you may not like that it is a bit rougher textured and the tracking it not as precise. My wife also noted that the backspace button is a smaller button than on a standard keyboard, about the size as the H key rather than its normal size. Overall a nice product. |

Good Design, Good Product
Comment:
I believe the reviewer above may have forgot to turn off the numlock. I was looking for a wireless keyboard and mouse combo to hook up to my PC that is connected to our TV & Xbox and to be able to reach the couch which is about 10 feet away from the PC. This combo works quite well except I do notice the range is only about half of what is detailed in the spec. When I get about 15 to 20 feet away I start to lose connection to the PC. I do have other wireless devices about 5 feet away so that may be part of the problem. Otherwise pretty happy with the product |

Good buy for the money
Comment:
As I write this review I am using the wireless mini keyboard. I've only used this keyboard for 3 mos., but I have not had any bad situations with this keyboard. As soon as I got it, I plugged it in and it worked perfectly, right out the box. I'm amazaed how far away from my computer I can type, it IS at least 25 ft. away. I have been looking for mini wireless keyboard and touchpad for some time. I got this at a decent sale price, and it has fufilled all my expectatons in an upgraded mini keyboard. |

This is a GREAT wireless keyboard . . .
Comment:
I have used this keyboard two year years now. To read bad reviews catches my attention and I feel the need to share some things. This keyboard has been the best I ever used. Have used it with 2.4 and 900GHz telphones and two routers. I have used this in my bedroom and now plan to buy one for the tv room. Once your brain wraps around the mouse ball under your right thumb the click button(s) on both sides and the clever scrolling under your left finger, using this keyboard becomes a joy and highly recommendable. One more note: my wife blazes on a keyboard and showed concerns of miss typing. I had to adjust the position of the recever for her sake. Easily fixed and we both have sat back and enjoyed this keyboard for over two years. |

Bought this to use as a keyboard for my MM PC in the Family room running Ubuntu Linux 8.10. Plugged it in and it worked at once. |

WARNING!
Comment:
This keyboard does not work if you have a router, cordless phone, or any other peripherals that are on 2.4 GHz. Most routers are 2.4 GHz. I had to send mine back because of this. My ratings are based only on the visual look over I gave it before it was returned. I am now getting the bluetooth version of this same keyboard. |

Extremely happy with it
Comment:
i just received my keyboard and it works great. it was just what i was looking for in a wireless keyboard. conserning the typing problem on the other review one must just hold the Fn button and press Num Lock and its done just like laptops. the board is small and easy to use. although for some reason when i type i press the spacebar but thats just me. i was really impress by the fact that the slot for the receiver was magnetized so in practically impossible for the slot to wearout and fall. sweet buy and good price right now for $70. |

Piece of Junk
Comment:
I'm no techo wizard, but I know my way around peripherals and setups. Followed the instructions, very simple setup is the only good thing about this unit. After it was set up, the keyboard seemed to work, until I actually started typing a real word document. Then the P came in as a -, and the C came in as a 2, etc. etc. And forget about support. You get a message suggesting that you send them an e-mail, go to their FAQ site, or leave a message. Save yourself the trouble and buy another unit from someone else. |
I bought this WKB-4000-UB to replace my four-year-old trusty 4000-US, which after years of constant service had acquired a flakey left-clicker. I bought the UB as it promised a few improvements. Unfortunately the keyboard layout is different, and less useful - in particular several keys have shrunk and the delete key has been moved from the easily-accessible top right corner to the middle of the bottom row. Also the trackpad is vastly inferior, ranging from hypersensitivity to downright numb, and the precision has been lost. I recommend the WKB-4000-US as a much more usable alternative.
