AMD A6-3500 APU W/ AMD Radeon 65XX HD GFX Triple Core Processor Socket FM1 2.1GHZ 3MB 65W Retail Box
Cons:Not remarkable in any way asside from it's price
Pros:Affordable, great graphics for it's price, cool Comment:
If you ignored the price, the entire Llano series is unremarkable, but when you considder the price the Llanos are spectacular. I price matched this CPU for $69 and I'm getting amazing performance for such a low price point. It's installed into an HTPC/Server and it's reasonably quiet and cool. I'm exceptionally pleased with this processor and I would buy again if I needed to build a similar machine. |

AMD A6-3500 APU W/ AMD Radeon 65XX HD GFX Triple Core Processor Socket FM1 2.1GHZ 3MB 65W Retail Box
Cons:none
Pros:Price, got it for under 100 bucksruns very cool Comment:
Got this for an htpc build and it works well. No problem with anything I've thrown at it. I paired it with an ASUS F1A75-M Pro mobo and 8 gigs of mushkin stilletos. I started to overclock it and wow!!! Was able to get it to 2.8ghz with no effort or tweaking. Just a bump on the bus speed. If you wan't to oc this chip make sure you have an aftermarket hsf as the stock one is pretty puny. I dropped the oc down as I don't need it and it runs at 17c with a scythe big typhoon rev b. Great chip for the price! |
This is going to be for my girlfriend's media PC. Since all she wants to do is watch downloaded movies, Netflix, light web surfing, this is going to be great! Really looking forward to seeing her face light up when it's all done and she see how much fast this is then her VERY old Core2 Duo laptop.3 zippy cores, integrated graphics = 1 happy g/f :)
