AMD Athlon II X3 405E Processor AM3 2.3GHZ 1.7MB Cache 45W 45NM OEM
Cons:
On the expensive side if purchased not on sale
Pros: Very fast and very low wattage Comment:
Great for HTPC builds as it is very difficult to find CPUs at 45W that are and adequately powerful (while cheap) |

AMD Athlon II X3 405E Processor AM3 2.3GHZ 1.7MB Cache 45W 45NM OEM
Cons:
none
Pros: 60$ triple core processor Comment:
nice processor for the price. 59$ for a triple core is worth every dollar. Put it in a build for a bare bones system. Really like amd's value. |

AMD Athlon II X3 405E Processor AM3 2.3GHZ 1.7MB Cache 45W 45NM OEM
Cons:
not delivered in a golden purse?
Pros: triple core for 125, powerful enough for pretty much anything Comment:
the processor has good price perfomance. only using it for a pvr but have used it for some video encoding and has been pretty snappy. purchase if you want a decent processor but don't want to pay an arm and a leg |

Pros: cheap in a bundle deal Comment:
good price, good performance, good upgrade from my old athlon 3500+. was able to unlock the 4th core, but decided to disabl it due to my old heatsink |
bought it with the cheap $99 bundle with a MSI board. The processer is solid. It's very good for a basic internet machine. My customer is very happy with it. Also i was able to use cheaper ddr2 RAM instead of pricy ddr3 at the time(although ddr3 prices are low now). Over all i'm very happy with this cpu.
