Pros: FastUnlocked to 4 cores Comment:
Great performance for the price. I couldn't see myself benefiting from anything more expensive for the gaming I do. Unlocked to a 4 core easy with a bios option on a Gigabyte AMD740G+. Easy installation. Haven't tried overclocking yet. No complaints, works great. |

It's fast and the price is right

I've been buying AMD processors for 15 years and am very pleased with the performance I'm getting out of this CPU. Although fast, I've been doing some H.264 video encoding and do kind of wish I'd just bought the quad core version. I was trying to keep the total cost of my pc down though and the X3 had the right balance of price and performance. In any case... great product! |
I have used this processor in 3 computers, with ASUS M4A785-M motherboards, and am very happy with the results. These computers are not being used for gaming so I cannot comment on that but for general use I see no need to go to anything more expensive.
