I installed six of these at work and we couldn't be happier with the cards. We use a multitude of applications such as Autocad, 3ds Max, and Sketchup. Functionality in all regions is amazing. None |

Handled my most graphics wealthy games. It never ever got hot or overheated. One particular day I got property from work to find my computer turned off. When I turned it back on there was smoke and sparks coming from the graphics card. Hopefully the replacement will not have the identical difficulty. |

This is my greatest card ever. I am a Civil 3D user and this card is the greatest ever. I had been a Nvidia only for Acad and now I have located a excellent card. Rapidly, does everything better. I also do Video rendering and this card is scary quick. Low noise and rock strong overall performance in all categories. When installing it wasn't smooth. Called tech assistance and they thought the card was DOA, so got another sent in replacement overnite (thanks Newegg) turns out that the tech support was flawed and that the very first card was fine. The directions for loading drivers isn't friendly. I had to go to Device Manager and it only initial saw that it was a VGA card not an ATI. Second tech assistance guy only told me to load the drivers manually from a neighborhood place of my driver download. Following a reboot I could use the CD and set up the Catalyst software and from there it was rock and roll time. I wish it had been able to do that from the get go, but it didn't recognize the card. I have Win 7 64. I love this card |

Quick Catalyst overscan very difficult to find!! Its a small teeny tiny triangle that you have to click to alter settings. Need to have been far less complicated!!! This could have been five stars if not for the overscan settings! |

Performs good correct out of the box. Updated drivers to download. Dual monitors working without any problems. Runs Solidworks 2010 x64 flawlessly. Looks great (I can essentially see the cool visual effects).Significantly much better client pictures.Rapidly. Won't be in a position to x-fire unless i get AMD processor/mobo.No troubles but. Just got it nonetheless. 輇 is a lot for a video card but it's paying for itself with my increased productivity compared to my 8800GT x2 SLI. No more waiting for features to LOAD!! Images i send to my buyers now appear way more professional and significantly greater. |

Rapidly card. Takes only 1 slot.(Theroretically) support three monitors.Client service answers the phone You'll want client service. My configuration of 3 monitors is supposedly supported - It is explicitly listed on the list of compatible configurations that you only get when you get the card. Finally got the Ŗnd level" tech to agree that my config was allowable - THEN they agreed to an RMA.(Note that the original line from the tech was that the ONLY config he mentioned was supported was 3 monitors of Exactly the exact same MODEL.)When you talk to customer support - make Certain you have them read your e mail address back to you. Given that you no longer can go on-line to register, they are open to human error. (they incorrectly entered my e-mail address causing ten day delay in my RMA so make sure you give them a telephone quantity too) AMD/ATI is looking at a world of hurt either in productivity that they lose supporting these configurations or in a class action suit for false marketing. EyeFinity is advertised as becoming in a position to support 3 monitors of differing sizes and resolutions, then support tells you some thing else and references their website as getting a bunch of exceptions. (none of which applied to my config)For those searching - rule of thumb is that if you need to have to connect three monitors, you're only allowed 1 passive adapter and it should be a DP->HDMI kind. (Yes they provide you with a DP->DVI adaptor, but that config is not listed as compatible with three monitors.) |

Pack with 2GB of devoted DDR5 Memory, runs very silently might perform properly with other 3D applications but Maya 2011. View port in Maya 2011 wont function even soon after installing the most recent drivers and performance plug ins, complete disappointment even with 2GB of memory it was berelly able to move my 3D models under Maya, i have to say don't get this card if you are on the industry for a video card to improve performance when modeling 3d in Maya, i tested a consumer gaming card against it, and for my surprise the gaming card was quicker. if you wand to see the efficiency test and my benchmarks go to YouTube under hckneoboom and kind in ATI Fire pro V7800 vs consumer card. i can't think that a customers gaming card is faster than a Skilled video card under Maya 2011 what a disappointment. i also call AMD for Help and they said it wast their drivers, and have me call Autodesk. witch then didn't help anyways. saying that because i own a student version of Maya they could aid me located out how to set up the view port two. in Maya for rendering in genuine time. waaaa what a disappointment. |

Good for dx11 games. Despite the fact that I dont game much. -Poor Maya 2011 Performance-Horrible OpenGL performance in PS CS5-Does not raise its clock speeds throughout usage-worst video card ive ever used regrettably I believed I would get a enhance in efficiency from my old QuadroFX 3450. I was sorely mistaken. This card is just basically garbage in comparison to that card. I have the most lag ever in CS5 when OpenGL is enabled. Also Maya 2011 is a complete laughable scenario. This card will just run really poorly in Maya. DONT bother purchasing this card if you use Maya. I dont feel ATI will admit that the drivers are cr@p. I also known as AMD they stated its Autodesks fault. Autodesk says their drivers "should function". What a joke. Nvidia appears to have Autodesk in their pocket and AMD cant do anything to assist it. I wont buy an additional ATI card after this and will try to get rid of this card as soon as I can to get a different QuadroFX card. Or revert to my old card sadly. I am utterly disappointed in this obtain and with amd in general. I would go so far as to say that there is false advertising involved here. The performance is just not there and I dont know why. >:( |

I ran some benchmarking applications on this, and (insert assessment title here). Solid Works and Adobe CS5 run awesome! No hiccups or install issues of any type, and I employed the driver install provided by Solid Works. Granted it's not the best of the line, it is one helluva mid-level CAD card. Except for the ridiculous price jump for workstation graphics cards, NONE! -> ASUS Sabertooth X58 w/ i7-930-> ATI FirePro V7800 2GB 256bit GDDR5-> OCZ Pro 600w PS-> 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600-> Antec P183 Mid-Tower-> WD RE3 1TB (Boot drive)-> Lite-On DVD-RWFantastic Machine! |
Good hi end graphics card at a very good price point The card is 11 inches extended. Does not fit in all chassis. So be extremely careful, measure. A common ATX MB is 12" x 9.six", the 9.6" is the length of the MB exactly where the card is more than, as a result it extends about 1.four" beyond the MB!! Note also the energy connector Ɩpin) is on the end of the board so a lot more length is necessary for the energy cable.I like Antec chassis, but the Sonata II is too little for this card, the 300 is just suitable. A server chassis with 12" to 13" could be far better. You may well need to be handy with a Dremel tool. Some other individuals have noted the multiple display troubles. To use 3 displays, one particular wants to use the two show port connectors. They can be connected to a DVI-D connector, but require an active adapter. A passive adapter is supplied, so in this will only let for two displays to be utilised. It would be nice if these facts had been accessible on the Newegg web page or the AMD web site. At least they put a piece of paper in the box to spell out the issues, but only right after purchasing components.
