AMD FX-4170 4.2GHz (4.3GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:None that I have found
Pros:This processor is fast for a decent price at the same time. I overclocked it to 4.6 without a problem. With the stock cooler it idles for me at 11 C and stays at around 30 c in game. I play Far Cry 3 at max setting with my hd 7770, and can usually play any game i want on all high settings. |

AMD FX-4170 4.2GHz (4.3GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Cons:Only thing i found even close to wrong was maybe a little help with how to install the heatsink. It was my first one, but i did figure it out.
Pros:Runs beautifully, so far no issues. I've never been able to multitask like this before. Definetly would choose amd again. Comment:
Overall, it's a great processor for the price i paided for it. Multi-tasking is ten times easier/faster and I haven't seen my cpu gauge go past 20%. |
My build was on a budget even without some fancy Intel thing that I would have paid 100 dollars more for this still packs a punch.
