Great Performace & Value
Comment:
What a great value for a fast quad-core processor! I usually never get the top of the line of anything (because you pay dearly for it), so I look for the best value, a balance of performance and price. And this fit the bill, although I splurged a little bit more than I normally do. I am using this with a Socket AM3 mobo with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. I have it overclocked very slightly to 3.15GHz and stable. |

Stellar
Comment:
Always been an AMD guy, and this processor just reinforced my belief in AMD's quality work. Never once maxed all 4 cores, even with MW2 on high. With a little work, the multiplier CAN be unlocked for overclocking (not that you'd need it). Again, AMD provides and Intel equal processor for half the price. |

Excellent Value

This CPU delivers on performance and energy efficiency at a very competitive price. The Win 7 experience index reports this CPU at a 7.3 out of a possible 7.9 on my system. |

The Sweet Spot
Comment:
This CPU is sweet and cool running at only 95 watts. More CPU may be just a waste of money. This keeps up and almost never runs at 100%, in my system with 8 gig PC 6300 RAM and 9800 video system. Windows 7 64 bit takes this CPU in stride and runs flawless. I think hardware is ahead of software and will be for a while. This CPU will |

Wow!

What can I say, AMD is at the top for sure. Gives intels i7 core a run for performance. But look no further if your looking for an affordable cpu and top of the line performance. |

I love this cpu bought it a while ago when they first came out. I have it liquid cooled and overclocked to 3.570 with no heating issues stays around 48 deg Celsius max Temp is 61. It reaches just about that under load. All around a great cpu. Its way cheaper than the i7 and holds up very well. Thank you AMD and Tigerdirect. |

Runs Great
Comment:
This thing runs great so far. I built a new computer upgrading from a duo core. I have barely touched the full processing power this thing is capable of. It runs cool in my Cooler Master Nvidia edition case. |

Cons:Not BlackEdition (not a big deal-I want a challenge :D)Stock Heatsink kinda sucks and is loud
Pros:Fast!Cheap!95w Comment:
Ok, I upgraded from a 5000+ BE to this. I am very pleased with this processor. I kinda took a gamble on this over a BE. I didnt see many people using this and wanted to see how this will overclock. I have OC'ed to 3.6 stable but will need a better Heatsink to go higher. |

Amazing CPU
Comment:
I upgraded to this (along with a new motherboard and RAM) from a Pentium D 2.8 GHz dual core. Needless to say the performance increase in gaming and everything I do skyrocketed. The stock fan isn't the greatest so if you want to overclock get something better. It was barely maintaining 43C idle at the max (6000) RPMs. Fantastic CPU though. |

I love it as a upgrade from a core 2 duo. I cranks out movies in a flask and runs like a demon. |
The step up to this quad core was more impressive than expecte. Is an excellent value and well worth the wait.
