I buy this to remplace and old phenom x4 2.8GHZ. This seam pretty much faster (at 3.8). Only 95watts so do not produce too much heat.Stock cooler is really small, no cooper only alu. |

Good processor with a lot of head room for overclocking, even unlocking, although I haven't been able to unlock it with my ECS A880GM-M7 (V2.0). There doesn't seem to be unlocking options in BIOS, but I'm running it at 3.5 Ghz with a slight voltage bump. |

For everyday use. This is an incredible value. Fast for any tasks thrown at it. Even for gaming if paired with a good video card.
