APC BE350G UPS

I use this UPS at work. I am an IT Administrator. We have deployed about 30/40 of those in the past 2 years and they work great. We don't need a monitoring software, so these are fine. While 350VA isn't that powerful, it is more than enough for an office computer and 2 LCDs. They usually lasts more than 10-15 minutes, which is more than enough for our users to shutdown everything.APC is quality. The unit is all plastic but doesn't feel that cheap. I would recommend it for personal use for either a computer not very power consuming or electronics such as RaspberryPi.It is a bit big and heavy, but it's cheap and good.

Works well as far as I can tell. I haven't had any power outages since I've purchased this device but I assume it will give me a moment or two to shut everything down. For the price the features are certainly adequate.

Unless you want a large amount of email, I would not purchase from these People again. They do not stop houding you with email, even after they have you opt out from an automatic option of accepting email from them.

I love the security this product gives my electronics. I now have protection on everything I own. I live in the wilderness part of a state where there just isnt much electrical cleaniliness, shall we say. Brown outs are part of my life and I have lost electronics to them. no more though...... so reasonable in price ...

Just needed enough juice to stay running long enough to shutdown gracefully, and this unit provides just that. Has very few features, but isn't lacking much either.

great product, excellent price - I especially like the power button opposite the cord end of the chassis, earier to turn off when I leave for long trips and want everything shut down.

The APC UPS's are the best buy for performance and cost. I have never had an APC unit fail.

For the cost this is a very well thought out UPS. The software included will save everything and then shut down the computer automatically depending on the time you selected. Because this is a small UPS I have mine set to shutdown after 1 minute. I live in a area that power outages are frequent and so are surges, so far this unit has worked flawlessly for the last 4 years. The only quibble is that the surge protection is rather low at 365 joules, but I have a surge protector on the whole house so this isn't an issue; or you could plug the unit into a better surge protector.
