It performs It operates after I spliced my lines and flipped the input jacks close to. The cable is specialty and doesn't work with my ATI X2 video card. I didn't incorporate the model number of the ATI, since I don't have it in front of me, nor does it matter. I just wanted a video card that has four outputs on 1 pci-e. Won't operate with your X2, so don't bother unless you're a maniac like myself. Becoming the card was used on a organization machine, I was hardly worried about splicing. It was an educational experience for myself, to say the least.

A must have for hi end Mother Boards if you are useing a P4 Power provide..If your MoBo won't post and you have an 2x4 connector but only have 2x2 from your power supply this is what you will will need...There are som power supplies with a 2x6 connector but do not try to use even tho it will fit the 2x4 connector on the MoBo..These are wired in a different way and the board may well finish up damaged.. None, its a wired connector set.

gave me assurance it altered color Not positive this cable will get previous any extreme continual usage here why...I was capable to use it throughout excessive prime95 test of overclocks but and a seriously critical point to maintain in mind the color of the end connector to the mobo in fact altered shades to a lot more like light brown following getting rid of to power supply upgrade. Being that my PSU was on the bottom of the situation (Antec 1200) my 4 pin would reach from the back side. Adding this extension cable fixed that concern. it didn't install itself rapid shipping for egg saver.

Looks and feels like very good excellent. Plugs correct in, no hassle. Not significantly you can say about a bunch of wires. None. Other then, I didn't seriously require it. I'm making use of a 4pin PSU with a GigaByte AM2+/AM3 board that has a 8pin CPU plug on it. I'm only operating an Athlon II x2 250 so I don't really will need the 8pin adapter. Only need the 8pin on the larger 125W cpu's. I just got it for peace of thoughts I guess.

Good cable sleeve. Didn't need the length, a easy converter would have been greater for me. My new motherboard a TA770 has a 8 pin connector. I have read that it can use a 4 pin connector. For the price I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Uses all 8 pins of my ABit IP-35E mobo. Prior to, my pc was operating on just four pins.. Offers me peace of thoughts incase one thing takes place its one less thing I have trouble shoot Dont know if I need to have it or not. My computer was booting ok with four pins. Recommended just to make positive your rig gets right power.

Does exactly what its supposed also. None. Make confident you have the correct voltages on each ends. For example, if you have a 4pin 12v that demands to be a 8pin 12v, then you can get this cord. But if you have a 4pin 8v and you get this 8pin 12v, it's not going to be stable. Just a heads up.

You know, its excellent to have about, But i didn't see any considerable Bonus in just about anything when i installed it in my computer. Really none but the extra 6 inches of cable that i don't will need in my situation Nifty, Probably not needed, Seek advice from your Mobo manual
