APEVIA PST-03 LCD Power Supply Tester III - OEM
Cons:
No 8-pin PCI-e connector, only 6The beeping is quite loud
Pros: PortableLCD screen Comment:
This is an excellent product. It shows the readings clearly, though not silently. If something is not plugged in, it will beep continuously, which is quite anoying. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say about it. It works as announced. |

APEVIA PST-03 LCD Power Supply Tester III - OEM
Cons:Very little instructions, but it is not to hard to figure it out. (no french instructions)
Pros:Very easy to use, nice display, Comment:
I have already use it twice and I was really impressed with the time you save using this little tool. It would be nice to have more detailed instructions and also in french. Would also be nice if there was a small casing to prevent scratches. |

APEVIA PST-03 LCD Power Supply Tester III - OEM
Cons:Plastic ends and wires feel like they may snap if you are not careful
Pros:Displays and signals which wire is faulty. Bright LCD display. A plug for nearly every power cable. Comment:
I checked some of the wires of a good PSU and all the wires showed no signs of error. Takes a long time to check each and everyone if you have a lot. Checked a faulty one and it beeped. A good detector if you have doubts about your PSU. |

APEVIA PST-03 LCD Power Supply Tester III - OEM
Cons:none so far.
Pros:alum. casing, audible alarm, voltage output. Comment:
Really a handy device if you don't want to go to the trouble of using a multimeter. When you first plug in the 20/24 connector you get a continous beep, then the p4 and it stops (if the supply is within specs). Then plug in each indivisual cable. Of course it won't be under load but the readings seem accurate. I tested a known bad supply and got a continous beep, and the 12v was near 10 so it was a dud. There are 3 led's for the 12,3 and 5 volt that light up if it passes. Mine the 3v did not work but still the dig read out said it was within specs. |
Really a handy device if you don't want to go to the trouble of using a multimeter. Lets me know what power supplies I have around here work and what ones are completely fried.
