Tiny and superior good quality. I applied this as a server when the 330 just came out. Server is still running excellent, no difficulties with the power provide. Program ran a small hot. I cut a hole in the side and installed a 90mm fan. This case would be better with a 90mm fan holes in the front left side. It only took ten minutes with a Dremmel. This is a tight case.... as it really should be it is little. take the energy provide out before you do any function. You life will be substantially better.

Little, can take complete size components, 250W power provide is incredibly silent and sucks the hotair out.I uncover the case to be appealing due to the fact it hides all the bays and has a neat dimensional front. No PCI express slot for upgrading graphics.I tried a silent PCI card, but it was fanless and had a heatsink that was a hair too big to close the case on.No place to screw added fans in. (I'm fine with my Atom create, but if I put in a 65W processor, I'd surely probably want a fan). I identified this case incredibly straightforward to create with.

Fairly affordable, looks decent. Would possibly buy again if the value was the exact same. I got this on a deal with totally free shipping which is usually a important cost in purchasing instances. It was also discounted so it has tempered my rating. The style for an atom processor is in all probability fine, but for an i series processor it's actually not so good, as other individuals have pointed out. Troubles: No directions, clearance over CPU, only 1 3-1ǘ" bay, PSU fan, overall airflow, cramped quarters in common. Essentially the layout of this case is horrendous. A shuttle box isn't too much taller and it has a significantly larger motherboard, but still manages to pack much more usable space into the case by a lengthy approaches. Air flow is substantially better, and it accepts substantial processors easily. You need to take out the PSU to install the motherboard, HDD, and DVD. So if one thing is wrong with any component of your method, removal of your PSU is required, which is nearly impossible alone. You have to disconnect the PSU, hold it up, even though removing connectors to several parts of your program. Thankfully mine was excellent to go, but I can't envision if it wasn't. The clearance more than CPU is 1Ǟ" with stock heat sink. The instructions just weren't there. The airflow sucks. More Cons: I could have reinstalled the PSU upside down, dunno but it blows into the CPU fan or alternately sucks air away from the CPU fan. Either way, it's a negative design. The worst part is you can't genuinely add a fan without having modding the case mainly because the perforations on the sidewall finish at the only logical place to spot a 120 mm fan, which does fit on the right side, at the front of the case. I cut holes in the case to enable airflow for the 120 mm fan. It's not fairly, but really should keep sufficient air flow for my i3 530 in an office (light load) atmosphere. I utilised 7-zip to test the processor and it got over 50C in about ten seconds with both cores and all threads running. On my other, quicker i3 in a superior case, the heat in no way rises above 45C with the stock fan and heat sink. I have no idea how you'd get a GPU in this case unless you left the case off, which defeats the objective of having a case. The only reason to purchase this case is that it's inexpensive and would operate nicely for a

Decent excellent case which permits for installing a tuner card. Can fit an optical drive, two 3.5" HDD (one on front floor), expansion card and at least one fan. Looks decent. None, actually. Can't complain for the price paid. All coments for IONITX-F-E motherbordɅ. A 120mm case fan will fit in the rear side of the case where three.5 HDD mounts if you decide on to mount the HDD in another location. It essentially "pops" in spot with the lower edge retained by the metal ribs in the mobo stand and upper by the dimples in the top case rail. No fasteners required.two. Memory height may grow to be an concern if you mount HDD in center bay and you want to be in a position to get rid of the memory without having disconnecting sata cables and removing components. Kingston value RAM appears to function well. three. When mounting a three.5 HDD in center bay, increase clearance in between SATA cables and CPU fan/heat sink by sliding HDD forward just shy of hitting front plastic case cover, mark rear HDD screw holes, eliminate HDD and Meticulously use a stepped drill bit to enlarge bay mounting slot sufficient to acquire screw clearance. Mount HDD with two screws.four. Power supply won't hit CPU fan, 1ǚ" clearance. Power supply blows OUT so DON'T flip it & drill top rated holes.

Not a lot. The frame is solid I guess, but that's about it. Oh, the front cover is not overly poor. First off, the location of the difficult drive mount compared to where the RAM goes is just poorly created. Absolutely don't get RAM that has any cooling attached. The supplied SATA cables wouldn't fit, and the smallest ones I could locate still touch the CPU heatsink fan. The space in between the stock cpu heatsink fan on an i3 and the power provide is, nicely, there is no space. It's touching. Wasted space along the sides that could have in all probability been shaved off and added among the CD drive and the power provide. The CD open button is a laughable style. Made this for a client. Won't be purchasing it again unless the client says they want one more with the precise exact same case. Hopefully they don't. Was going to use 1 of these as an HTPC case for house, but soon after operating with it I'll stay away from it.

Very uncomplicated to construct my mITX technique. Quiet and cool with an AMD Fusion APU-based board.Sturdy and solid feeling for such a little case. I would not hesitate to get a different for a related method. If the case were about 1ǘ" longer (or possibly if the bezel were flatter, it could have mounted a second three.five" drive forward of the very first. That would have been a nice expansion choice. This is a method with no optical or floppy drive. But the space for an optical drive is fairly tight.Front bezel is shiny plastic and a genuine finger print magnet.

Looks quite slick. Can fit both a full sized ƕ.25) dvd-drive and a fullsized graphics card, which is hella nice on a itx case.Psu is of fair power 鴺w) given the size and value the thing. Can be cooled with a single 120mm case fan just dandy. Again, the psu fan covers half the cpu fan and you WILLwill need a low profile cpu fan unless you want a gimpedatom technique.Practically NONE of the screw holes line up appropriately. It will all fit, but it's a pain that could have beenavoided with the most easy of beta testing. Also the red hdd led is WAY too bright. There are essentially TWO diverse case kindsɅ has a BLUE LED and One side has ventilation holes. One has a GREEN LED and Both sides have ventilation holes. You will get either one randomly, so be conscious.

It's modest, looks cool, Has space for a DVD/Rom "Tight Fitting" the region is very tight. No Case Fans, PSU Sits on CPU heatsink. PSU fan not sufficient by any means. I purchased this to replace my Shuttle K45 case. Unfortunatley this case runs very HOT. My cpu has reached over 70c in this case and still climbing. I need to have to somehow get far better airflow then whats currently in place. Also the RAM is tight fitting as nicely. I had to removed the RAM heatsinks for it to clear the case.

Extremely little footprint. Fantastic for a quite low heat PC. Be quite careful on what you put into this case. I tried to put in a DVD burner AMD II x2 250 4g of ram and a tough drive and it was running 54c typical. I attempted a side fan no real aid. Tried mounting mounting the difficult drive on the side like they say to, and that brought the average up two-three degrees, but eventually crashed the machine due to over heat. I even went as far as cutting a complete in the top of the case and inverting the PSU (which was dumb on my portion, due to the fact now I can't RMA). I'd say for the size this is fantastic for an Atom board with an SSD, but be quite very careful about something else.

Lots of capabilities for a smaller case. Economical price, but the black metal looks wonderful in my living space. The plastic on the front is nice and shiny, but prompts me to be a small added cautious when handling it. Employing their extra three.five" drive bay would block the fans, so I stowed my added HD elsewhere. I did a lot of analysis when buying this case and choosing out the parts to go inside and I couldn't be happier. Anyone complaining about the case becoming too hot didn't properly analysis their pieces to fit just correct. Is it tiny? Yes. But I have a full size PCI-E video card, two 3.five" hard drives and two silent 80mm fans and my E6600 3.06GHz Pentium Dual core stays within temperatures that would be completely acceptable for a full size desktop, even at heavy load.

I just appreciate this little case. I've built many smaller systems with them now, as component of down-sizing my equipment. Soon after working with these, I'm truly discontent with large, space-hog systems.Working with 1 for a WHS box with Intel Atom 330 MB & 2 WD Green 1 TB drives, and is ideal for that purpose. Extremely quiet, and runs cool.Second program is Atom D510 mini-server for computer software development. Now ordering two more - 1 for a HTC construct, and an additional for a bigger Sandy Bridge server.A lot of ventilation if you don't fill up the box with lots of heat-generating stuff. Not significantly really. You have to assemble all the components in the right order and route the cables appropriately. If you need to have to modify anything on the MB (like memory, you'll almost certainly want to get rid of the challenging drive(s). I'm not building any additional bulky, noisy, energy-hungry machines. If it doesn't fit in one of these cases, I'm not constructing it.

Small - inexpensive(price) - straightforward to put together - superior lookin' The challenging drive could use a couple of much more choices as to mounting! It is a tight fit. But a suitable angle SATA connector did the trick. Even used normal sized RAM rather of low-profile. Tight, but workable. There is about 1ǘ" clearence among CPU HSF and PSU when you use an AMD processor. Intel HSF are not created for this sort of case. Hey, this factor is little, folks. Don't anticipate it to hold all the junk you got stashed in your mid-tower sort case!! The DVD drive was no dilemma, either. You will notice that the little do-hicky on the back of the button on the front of the case that opens the optical drive door is movable! You can slide it to one side or the other to match the location of your drive button. I also purchased a 120mm case fan, but haven't installed it but. Waiting to see what the temps are from just typical install. They did open up both side of the case for ventilation. Yeah!

Well, you get what you're paying for. It's a nice, small, low quality case, with PSU included. Screw-holes may damage if you screw and unscrew into it too often. The door of the optical drive is kind of weak and I was wondering if it won't break - it didn't. I didn't trust too much to the PSU and I took the voltmeter and checked it, all the power is good and constant within limits.

I purchased this on-sale for $39.99. I added in a MSI E350IA-E45 mobo, 3.5" hard drive, 5.25" optical, and a 120mm fan on the side. Everything runs cool and quiet, only trouble I had with installation was fitting all the wires in to close the case, but I got it all stuffed in there! Some minor issues are the 2nd 3.5" drive space being on the side vent where a hard drive would block the holes. If you buy this don't plan on adding a 2nd 2.5"/3.5" drive unless you don't mind blocking these holes. A 120mm fan fits nicely there though. Also the front usb ports are upside down. I always plug usb ports in upside down the first time, so this may be a plus if you're anything like me.For the price I paid I am very happy with this case.
