ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:only 2 slots per type of RAM
Pros:Straight forward setup, compatible with DDR2 or DDR3 Comment:
I haven't configured an AMD motherboard since the first 64 versions. The setup was easy to do and the speed of the processor was helpful. I had 4 sticks of DDR3 but the board only takes 2 slots per type. The computer is for a client whose motherboard has been on the fritz since 2 years ago, a cute little HP machine. He's gonna be happy to see some older pictures of his family. |

ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:None
Pros:Great transition motherboard, price and compatibility. Comment:
Used this several times for rebuilds that want to start by keeping their still functioning IDE drives which would be costlier to replace otherwise. Nice solid ops with a few G.Skill memory cards from the manufacturers QVL specifications. Holds the AMD CPUs nicely but be careful of bottom PWS placement in the case or you'll find that 4-pin power line to the MB on opposite corners with a stretch that wouldn't work with an option card installed including video. |

ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:On-board gig NIC not Linux compatible (new about it when I ordered)
Pros:good for a low cost upgrade Comment:
Bough this board for a low cost upgrade to my home linux server, new the on-board NIC would not work with linux but I already had an Intel Gig PCI NIC in the existing server. This board allowed me to go from a single core processor with 2 Gigs of RAM to a quad processor with 8 Gigs of RAM while keeping my case (USB2), my DVD burner and boot IDE drives (one port ATA133), power supply (500W) and 2 existing SATA drives that will now run at SATA II speed instead of the SATA I ports on the older board. It has been up and running ever since I received it without any hiccup. |

ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:none
Pros:4 DDR3 slot, cheap Comment:
This motherboard comes with alot of features for it's price along with 4 DDR3 slot unlike most board at it's price range who only got 2... it's great for a budget gaming pc for instance and unlike what I read in some other user review, mine was pretty solid and seems good quality (nothing is falling of or anything!) |

ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:Some Athlon dual core's won't fit (first gen)
Pros:The most compatible board on the market Comment:
This is a great board with many options when it comes to CPU's and RAM. I would recommend this board for value. If you are running a first gen Athlon / Phenom it will only work with DDR2 ram. If you are running a modern CPU your ddr3 + ddr2 will work perfect. The on-board graphics is very basic, I strongly recommend a nice graphics card. Over all I am happy with this board and I would buy another one. |

Cons:Lack of Sata3No USB 3.0ASRock
Pros:CheapDual Support for DDR2 and DDR3Support for AM2\AM2+\AM3\AM3+Lots Of Sata PortsIDE Connector for Older Drives Comment:
This is a great deal for a board which can revive your older AM2 CPU will still providing for the option of upgrading later to a new 8-core with DDR3 Ram. Still cant believe I got it for this price. Not too sure about ASRock build quality but I fih=gured I would give it a shot. |

ASRock N68C-GS FX mATX AM3+ GeForce 7025 DDR3 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA2 VGA USB2.0 Motherboard
Cons:If you use the driver cd it comes with a bunch of not useful programs. Such as trials and Norton -- Which in my Opinion is a terrible program.
Pros:This board is great! Has 5.1 audio, PCI-E x16. supports both DDR2 and DDR3 ram. AM2, AM2+, AM3 Chips, works great! Comment:
This board is a steal for that price. Works perfectly out of the box! If you need a cheap replacement for an AM2, or AM2+ CPU this would be the one for you! |
It's a shame that this will be discontinued. I have a PhenomII X4 980 c/w OCZ Gold DDR2 My ATX gigabyte board is cooked and the computer was no longer usable. This is lesser than my old board, but it was cheaper than a new system and it works well for what that computer now gets used for. Now when my chip or RAM gets cooked I can upgrade without having to buy a new board. This is a great answer for people looking to upgrade an old system.
