Using this board for about a week. I gotta say, it's definitely worth it.I swapped out Mobos on a Win 7 pro 64bit installation. Only problem I had was forgetting to set the BIOS SATA mode from AHCI to IDE. Once I switched, all was good.Great product. |

Cons:- Front audio chip does not auto-detect and disable the main audio when a head-phone is plugged in.- 2 Chassis Fan headers are located in the middle of the board, so it's not quite a perfectly clean install.

Very much a feature packed board. Love the fact that it supports all forms of video out (display port, HDMI, DVI, D-SUB) at good resolution (not all boards in this class support 2560x1600 with all connections). BIOS defaults to AHCI, other features very easy to setup.Better BIOS configurability than equivalently priced GigaByte/Asus boards (based on P67/Z68 based boards - both of which I've owned/built from).Overclocked a 3770K to 5.0Ghz without breaking a sweat.Overclocked Muskin DDR3 RAM to >2300Mhz without breaking a sweat. |
This was my first Asrock board. In the past I have built systems using ABIT, MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte - this board offers more features at a comparable price point. Installation was easy and I had no problems once the build was complete. My only complaint would be the placement of the CPU power connector. Its location on the board made routing from the PSU to the connector difficult - I was not able to route the cable behind the board due to the length of the supplied PSU cable. Other than that, this board rocks. Very powerful and very pretty.
