ASRock Z77 Pro 3 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 CrossFireX 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:-Software?
Pros:-Cheap (With mail-in rebate)-Good value if you include mail in rebate. Comes with many features like virtu mvp and usb 3.0 header. Comment:
First, NCIX had mail in rebate date of May 1st-May 31st but on the rebate form it says May 1st-15th. On May 16th, the rebate was removed from the product page. Mistake on NCIX's part I'm assuming. The motherboard itself is good and it's not exactly full ATX sized. It's a good entrance motherboard. If you're planning to crossfire, you should consider other motherboards as this motherboard will have the first card running at PCI 8x and second at 4x or something like that. The software seems to have incompatibility with my 6850 however. It wouldn't let me have both HD3000 graphics card drivers and 6850 drivers on at once otherwise constant blue screens. Took me 5 hours of headache to figure that out. Unsure how to fix or what the real problem is.Also, with hyper 212 CPU cooler, it was way too close to the first ram slot to the point of touching the ram. I had to move the ram to slots 2 and 4. Overall good budget motherboard if you want virtu mvp, z77 chipset, and usb 3.0. |

ASRock Z77 Pro 3 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 CrossFireX 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:unclear user manual
Pros:Good pricesWorking well Comment:
Get it on my friend's PC when it is on sale($99.99 with MIR). It is the cheapest Z77 M/B that I saw. Good price and works well. The only thing I get confused is setting the jumper(like the HDD light, power light, etc.) The user manual did not state clearly.Good one if it has a limited budget. |
bought this board expecting a solid Z77 board for my ivybridge build and it didn't disappoint. Overclocking options in the bios are easy to manage though some options have non-standard names.
