Comment:
Installed a 4770k and I loved the integrated overclocking settings I used the preset 4.1 overclock as a reference for my own endeavours. UEFI was a bit tough to use for configuring my hard drive and RAID configurations. Everything works well and great after some work. Had some problems with the USB 3.0 drivers by Intel, but I found a solution. I also have troubles telling my windows 7 to sleep now, not sure if this is a problem with the motherboard. I am very impressed with this motherboard so far especially for the price.

This is an excellent board for for anyone as long as you know what you are doing.Max Overclock for my 4770K was 5.1Ghz with a H100i and some voltage boosting & without much fuss or any bus holes. On first try overclocked the 4770K in less than 3min to 4.5Ghz in auto and that's pretty awesome. With voltage tweaking u can get the temps down by at least 30C down. to high 50s or mid 60s.Hooked up to a Watt meter this is the best board i have seen in years for low power use at high clocks. At stock with 6fans and a H100i (no vd card) it idled at 33-34Watt on a Antec 850 platinum High Current PSU, and only 10 more Watt on Corsairs AX650Pro gold.At 4.7Ghz with 6fans and a H100i (no vd card) it idled at 43-44Watt on a Antec 850 platinum High Current PSU, and only 10-11 more Watt on Corsairs AX650Pro gold.If you know overclocking a bit or do ur research on goggle, ur gonna be ULTRA happy with the results that u get.

ASRock Z87 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1150 DDR3 3CPI-E16 2PCI-E1 SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:UEFI is horrible. Hard to understand for overclocking. Lacks any decent description. Looks like it was designed for little kids with all the stars??wierd.Overclocking is not as simple as my ASUS 8P67 Pro for sure.

Pros:Has all of the features I need in a mobo.Setup was straight forward. Layout was generally decent. Not sure how the waterproof coating will be a feature but it looks good. Great quality caps and components.
Comment:
Nice motherboard, bios UEFI needs a lot of work. It is flash over function. They need to look hard at ASUS and AI SUITE - soo much better! Overclocking is clunky but works well. Outside of the UEFI the actual board is great, yes the pcb is a bit thin and flexes a fair bit on install, but I don't pull out a hammer to install the board?? paired with a I5-4670k and it rocks. Overclock is mild at 4.2 ghz but it is a noticeable improvement over my I5-2500k in my office. I still have the feeling I should have continued to build using ASUS, just seems to have better fit and function versus ASROCK.Time will tell I guess...
