ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 1XPCIE3.0X16 3XPCIE2.0X1 3XPCI 6XSATA3 Motherboard
Cons:very basic, dont have the bells and whistles other z97 have
Pros:z97 board Comment:
cheapest z97 i can find but I dont see myself reusing this board if i need an upgrade |
Got this board with a 30$ Mail in Rebate discount. NCIX took more than a week to actually ship the board so after two weeks I finally received the mobo.. too late of course to have it at the announced price. At least I've learned. The board itself is very small, feels cheaper than the previous Asus board I owned in the past. If you still got some older IDE drive at home that you still want to use I suggest you pass on this one as it only got SATA ports. No audio jack for front/side/rear speakers. Two USB 3.0 ports at the back. The bios is very nice and you can update it directly from the bios itself which is nice. Coupled with an Haswell 4690k you can have a very good gaming pc at a fairly cheap price.. but don't take a 30$ mail in rebate for granted though as this incentive is just a bait.
