I had ordered this nearly a month after the release date, so I was worried that I would be smacked in the face with yet another "out of stock" label. Fortunately, NCIX had a copy, so I immediately place an order. Three days later I had it.The game itself was very well executed. There were great moments, like the opening opera scene, the naval warfare, and even the few unexpected twists to the story. The main character, Conner, was quite as likeable as Ezio, but the gameplay itself was smooth and enjoyable with a few new added weapons. Combat was simplified, so I found myself fighting off armies of guards instead of running away, simply because it was easier to kill them off rather than find a place to hide. I might normally complain at the difficulty, but I did enjoy watching Conner fight. He was a lean, mean killing machine. There was a couple of brilliant sequences where we got to see Desmond in action, though they were a bit too few for my liking. The ending seemed a little toned down, not quite the big bang I expected, but that's probably because it all happened so quickly there was little time to process it, but looking back, it seemed fitting. It's hard to say much more without leaving spoilers, but I will say this - I don't think any AC fans will be disappointed with this.
