Cons:I feel that loading times for discs could be improved. They are far from instantaneous...

Pros:Good design, burns Blu-ray discs rapidly, burns DVDs rapidly, plays Audio CDs and regular DVDs. Easy-to-use, and easy to install.

Easy breezy beautiful!ASUS has a winner, and you will too with the BW-12B1LT!Fast, easy-to-use, and looks great in my CM COSMOS S Chassis. This is my first experience owning Blu-ray technology. The drive functions well for Audio CDs, and normal DVD movies as well, and the TrueMotion software feature improves the appearance of older (non-Blu-ray) movies. In 1080p on a 23" ASUS monitor, Blu-ray quality looks great!

Pros: 3D Compatible,12x for 25GB BD and 8x for 50GB BD,8MB cache memory.

Comment:
This Blu-Ray writer work fine for me ,Now i can play 3D movies on my 3DTV and rip a Blu-Ray Movie at hi-speed with out error...I use Verbatim BD-R DL 6X Disc.My old Sony BD 4x BWU200S was not able to play 3D movies and somtime make error at 4X...so it a good upgrade for me.
