Look is completely amazing!Came with A lot of sata cords!Very easily OC'ed my 1055t to 4.2ghz!Plenty of room to upgrade(For xFire)Very best Acquire of the year. -no PCIe 1x slot- Necessary it for my sound card which is now useless.-onboard sound is terrible compared to what I had prior to (Creative Xi-Fi Sounblaster Titanium)-NO IDE!!! I know IDE is finding old, but because of this it renders my 500gb hdd useless. Getting an Asus Xonar D2 for audio. I admit, I am an Audiophile. |

UM ITS Wonderful! and it looks Terrific IF YOU ARE Organizing TO USE THIS WITH A PCI-E OCZ RevoDrive you need to analysis very first, i just got mine and it took four days to figure out how to get it working. if you are using windows go to power management>advanced>PCI-E>LINK STATE POWER MANAGEMENT, TURN THAT JUNK OFF!! otherwise it drops voltage to your SSD!! which occurs to be running WINDOWS! so it will freeze/BSOD. its not the board although so no worries. hope it assists a person out! |

Lay out is quite nice slots have nice spacing and quite sleek in look. I will fill you in on far more detail as soon as I have put the method together I ran into a misfortune delay simply because a case i ordered was damaged. None yet will post as I full the constructing of my rig. I know the board is a crossfire how ever it would have been good if it also supported Sli. I have utilised Asus in the past and they were constantly a reliable item. This board appears to be nicely thought out for the gamer enthusiast. Just make sure you invest in some adapters incase you have any 3 pin hook ups since all the fans are 4 pin on the board. I will admit I am a Nvida user and you know often you get that itch to scrath to try something distinct. The major question which is far better Ati or nvidia has rang out and to ease my curiosity I decided to try crossfire for now I will be just using a XFX 6850 and possibly getting 2 much more in the future to go 3 way. |

The very best thing going for this board is almost everything and future upgrading finally revealed. The truth that if you go to the Asus update site for this board and look under Windows 7 X64 updates you Will see a bios update for testing AMD AM3+ CPU's which means that many of the rumors that the new codename Bulldozer or other 8 Core CPU's will probably function in this board are correct! At least AMD will make some thing 8 or 6 core that will be 50% quicker than the 1090t & 1100T, that will perform on this board, with the new architecture so it will not be obsolete:>) Absolutely nothing, actually the finest board I have had in all my computing years! For a enthusuiast such as myself I really like the color scheme but that's much more of my own private opinion. ASUS is the only brand I buy when buying motherboards and I have been satisfied everytime. I have a Air setup and I am just beginning to unleash the overclock on this board with my thermaltake frio. The overclocking capability is awesome! Just hit the auto overclock button and I went from three.2 to 3.9! Haven't had any NB issues like other people have stated, staying a steady 35C idle and អC under load. Not really a con, but the MB shipped from a diverse warehouse than the rest of my Pc, so I had to wait an additional day for delivery haha. |

Just the finest motherboard I have ever owned! It has trouble shooting leds to let you know if there is a cpu, memory, or pci error. This came in handy when I initially set it up and didn't seat the ram all the way. I haven't delved into it, but the my logo feature can be risky. Do your investigation! I have heard of men and women putting logos that are too large for the bios to hold and it bricks the board. Like I mentioned I don't have any use for this feature but if you do, beware. Remember, read the qualified list for you board for cpu, and ram. I purchased the Mushkin 6gb 1600 kit that was listed and it functions like a dream. |

-Test points for voltage-On board raid for SATAIII-A lot of PCIe slots-Trouble shooting leds-Core unlocker for guys who want to acquire a three core and get the fourth core on the cpu running. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!-On board power button. Have dreamed of 1 for these for my frankensteen (yes, frankensteen. Not Frankenstein) projects. Helps to keep the wiring down. I. E. I am not working with a case.-Overclock on the run. Now that is one of the bestest parts. Anxiety only when I want it. -The first board did not play nicely. The bios died. The bright side is New Egg RMA. The second board is performing beautifully. Exactly where the bios fell short in the first 1 was on raiding my two SSDs. This board has had the ideal fit and finish of any board I have owned to date. It is a tweekers board, so be prepared. The manual could do with much more literature on what can and can\'t be completed with it. ASUS should have tested this board a lot more in the real world before release.DO NOT UPGRADE THE BIOS UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD TO OR HAVE TO. |

I do have to say that this is the best and I mean the ideal mother board i have ever applied temps are stable overclocking has by no means been smoother i am able to get my phenom x6 to 4.6ghz with no temp or stability concerns meant for crossfire ideal if you are looking to create a full tower pc i do wish the pci express slots had been a lot more spread out but that seems to be the difficulties with all mother board with today's graphics cards taking up so significantly space you would believe the would have greater designs for multi gpu users I cant seriously say something negative about it i just adore this board the design with the exception of the pci slots is perfect i appreciate the color supported ssd with no problems |

I purchased this so I won't have the require to upgrade at all for a couple of years. I don't own anything that utilizes the USB 3., but I'm sure I will in a couple of years. Kind of a discomfort to overclock it, but I just searched via a few message boards to come across somebody who has the identical setup that I do and copied their settings. It worked. Expensive... though it was nicely worth the price. Considered getting the comparable Gigabyte board, but the memory speeds would only go to 1600 with two DIMMs, not all 4. |

Cpu too close to the memory. could use a lot more sata ports. the price is a bit high, but you get what you pay for. No heat issues like prior evaluation just before this evaluation. |

- Quite a few overclocking features (overclocking fail-safe, voltage checker, LED voltage indicator, great BIOS features, and so on)- Three PCI-E x16/x8 slots- Runs comparatively cool- Accessories included in packaging are great (SATA 6gb/s cables, zip ties, cable labeller, and so on)- Sold board; built to last- a lot of USB 3....and all the SATA ports are 6Gb/s!!- Phenom II six-cores were recognized right away, no require to update BIOS- Plenty of case fan connectors- Clean and effortless to read manual...AND SO Considerably Additional! - The RAM slots are a small too close to the socket. If you are working with a huge CPU cooler and utilizing a push-pull dual fan configuration, AND tall RAM modules, the 1st RAM slot will be not readily available to you.- Dual slot, Crsssfire/SLI setup May well be an issue. They ask you to use the initially and second-to-last PCI-E slot for a dual GPU setup. If you have a bottom mounted PSU, and you are utilizing dual slot graphics cards, the bottom card will have about 1 slot's space of clearance to "breathe." The chassis USB, Firewire ports are down there also, so the cables may possibly be in the way. Essentially, where the overclocking buttons are is the "breathing" space between the energy supply and card. Overall, this motherboard is 1 of the greatest, with a few minor "flaws," but not a deal breaker.1 thing I just HAVE to speak about is the OC'ing fail-safe function. If your overclock causes a blue-screen, you don't have to clear CMOS/BIOS. Just reboot your PC!All the red SATA ports are 6Gb/s! It also comes with a black SATA port below, just for DVD/blu-ray drives and such. You can use the red SATA ports if you have much more than 1 drive, so no issue there.my rig:- AMD Phenom II 1090T ʄGHz- Thermaltake Frio CPU cooler w/dual fan push-pull config- ASUS Crosshair IV Formula 890FX mobo- 8GB ƒ X 4GB) G.Skill RipJaws DDR3 1600MHz @ 1333 7-8-7-20-1T timings- XFX Radeon HD 5850 @ 850- Corsair TX850 850W v1 (v2 was just released so..)- Cooler Master HAF 932- WD Caviar Black 1TB- Windows 7 ult. 64-bitWith my CPU cooler & tall RAM, I couldn't use the initial RAM slot. Great board (likely the best AMD board I have ever used). I built a rig for one of my best friends and decided on this board. We coupled it with an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T which we overclocked to 4GHz.He is running two Radeon HD 4870s in CFX (older cards I know) and a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Sound card. The result is a rather powerful and reliable gaming machine for a great price. |

I was going to get a lesser board from asus but im incredibly thankful I gave in and went for this 1, just overall its a fantastic purchase and seriously goes properly with AMD X6 Black editions |

If ya want the best of the line amd board get it, overclock is nearly too straightforward with oc buttons and so on. Stable board, tons of features, fairly significantly what everybody else is saying. None, this board is worth each and every penny. You can get exact same results with a cheaper board, but if ya want all the flare and flash as properly get this 1.Running this board with 2x2g 1600 gkskill ripjaws, Am3 965 quad four.1 ghz stable, ram at 1600. Stable, prime95 24 hrs+ no bsods / errors, all three test Ɠ days total, 24 hr each and every test). Believe me, takes no skill to achieve this oc either, the board is just extremly user friendly, change fsb, it sets voltage / cpu multiplier for ya and you can pick ram timing etc and it corrects the voltage automatically. |

This a gamer's dream motherboard. Can overclock extrmely easily and there is so several strategies for you to do so. wonderful spaced out expansion slots to accommodate massive graphics cards. No cons On 1st boot and after installation of O.S. make confident you set up your drivers otherwise you won't have internet to connect to or several other functions supported by the motherboard.
