ASUS G72Gx-A1 17.3" Notebook Computer
Cons:If you want long battery life, look elsewhere. It is a fingerprint magnet for the fussy.

Pros:Incredible performance for a laptop. Comes with Razor mouse and backpack to tote around. It just looks damn cool.
Comment:
Was looking for a portable and updated version of my desktop for play (and oh yeah...work too). Looked and waited and finally quad core + blu ray in a trust worthy name. Simply an awesome performer plus some really nice little extras like separating the 2 500 gig drives into 4 partitions during setup, the ports are logically organized (unlike my wife's Vaio), back lit keyboard and some of the pre-installed software is actually useful.Sadly the Q9000 is not overclockable but tbh, I don't see why you would need to. You can monkey around with the vcard timings if you like but everything that I'm running (both work and play) has not proven to be a challenge yet for this mobile monster.A full 17" monitor in front of you that is really fantastic, though in some ways, I may have preferred the widescreen monitor but not a deal breaker for me.You'll be making lots of use of the micro fiber cloth that it comes with because that nice shiny finish (both on top and around keyboard area) is a finger print magnet. To this user, just not that much of an issue and no more than a 5 min wipe down here and there and she's all purty again. No regrets after my purchase and if you are looking for a true gaming laptop, then look no further (or wait for the G73GX later this year).
