Unit shipped was damaged
Comment:
Power Up Black ATX Mid-Tower CaseAs I opened the box, the smell told me the powwer supply was burned out. I called and they were willing to swap oout the unit after i returned the old one They did give me the phone number of the case manufacturer. That call was EXCELLENT. They Shippped a replacement power supply and label to return the old one. They wanted a credit card number as a guarantee of return. The manufacturers rep was excellent. Cheers to Manufacturer, jeers to Tiger Direct. |

Stable Runner
Comment:
AMD Athlon II X4 620 Quad Core Processor Great little cpu for mid-range computing. With no L3 cache it wont be a high end gaming cpu, but it's a good middle of the line performer for the price. Been running stable and cool for a few months now and I have complaints. |

Fan details that could help you
Comment:
Power Up Black ATX Mid-Tower Case I bought this case as a part of a barebones kit. It is a pretty good case for under 50 dollars. I like the side vent which ends up being just above the cpu fan. Pretty sure you could also affix an 80mm fan in this vent as well just do away with the plastic port it comes with. It says it comes with a 180mm fan port. This is a bit misleading. The regular case fan location can take an 80mm fan or 92mm it looks like. I bought a 120mm fan so I was really perturbed when I did not see this fan port. You have to look closely. There is a location just behind the two and a half inch bays where you can affix a 120mm fan as an intake fan. If you do that with an 80mm exhaust fan in the back and an 80mm exhaust fan on the side things should stay super cool in any application. |

good ram for gaming.

Ultra 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory One day, I called up tech support for PNY because I baught a graphics card from them and it was dead on arrival. They laughed at me and said I didn't know what I was doing only buying a 2gb ram stick for a 'gaming computer'. Ok, so after receiving the 9500gt nvidia card from them that WORKED, I am now playing EVERY game I can get my hands on ALMOST maxed out! Amateur gamers, build it, it will play. |

Good starting motherboard
Comment:
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard I grabbed this mobo as part of a barebones kit to upgrade my ancient system. It works great, and my new box is smoking. Only slight downside is having 1 PCI expansion slot (not counting the Express slots) with the transistors right below it limited a couple of expansion options. |

Very good deal
Comment:
AMD Athlon II X4 620 Quad Core Processor Okay, it has no L3 cache but the price-performance ratio of this chip is unbelieveable. Unless you have an awesome gaming rig this is not going to be the bottleneck in your system. Period. |

Power Up Black ATX Mid-Tower Case Good case; could be smaller. Hard drive hard to screw in. Front LED wires well labeled. Both kinds of power plug are good feature. |

Great bargain
Comment:
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard Great MB, with both SATA and IDE, and many internal USB plugs. Hard to mount back outlet plate, different from that on case. Drivers did not install automatically from disk. Nvidia LAN driver was greyed out; had to find it on disk. |

No regrets
Comment:
AMD Athlon II X4 620 Quad Core Processor I can't speak for performance except to say that I find it light years faster than my old Athlon X2 dual core. It rips through GTA4 even with a mid-range video card, and handles everything I throw at it with ease. I highly recommend this CPU for any value minded customer who isn't put off by AMD. |

A good deal for a finnicky product
Comment:
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard This board works very well for me, and the price was definitely unbeatable at the time, but there is one very strange and a little distressing problem for anyone wanting an ATI video card, it seemed to fail for me sporadically, but repeatedly... apparently there is some known issues with ATI cards and some NVIDIA based boards where the card will be constantly shifted between two refresh rates, and cause the card to lose contact with the motherboard... never seen anything like it before. Returning the videocard and getting a good NVIDIA card seems to have solved the problem though. I would reccommend it to any value minded NVIDIA supporters. |

Ok case for the price
Comment:
Power Up Black ATX Mid-Tower Case Considering I recently purchased a $90 Antec case and it arrived with a faulty power cable I can't complain about this case for half the price. Everything worked. Has a tidy little harness for the power and front panel. As far as the construction goes, well it is what it is. A cheap aluminum case. Sharp edges. If I have any complaint its that there are no screws or screw holes to secure PCI cards or other peripheral devices in the back panel. The only thing holding my video card in is the PCI slot. That could be a stress problem as time goes on. I modified it with a dremel tool and self tapping screw. |

caused computer to hang
Comment:
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard I bought this mb to upgrade older computer. Worked fine at first but computer began to freeze up once or twice per day, eventually got to point where computer would freeze up after only 20 to 30 minutes. I suspect the onboard video. Returned and purchased a cheap biostar board which has worked fine so far (5 days and counting). |

Plain jane box
Comment:
Power Up Black ATX Mid-Tower Case A bit disapointed by the skinpy side panels that need to be massaged back into place. The case flex a little so try not to move a lot. The front panel is bolted on. |

Good Mobo
Comment:
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard Good board, works exactly as advertised. Careful, though, only 1 IDE header. I missed that when I read the specs and ended up having to buy a SATA DVD Drive to replace the IDE drive I had. Tried a IDE controller in a PCI slot but then it got confused when trying to boot off of the DVD drive. |
