ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:- camera is only adequate (also the case for my nexus 4) hopefully will be improved with software update sometime.- lack of selection for accessories (such as bumper - ncix only seems to have a 'book style' case)
Pros:-price-build quality & feature-screen |

ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:- Microsd slot would've been nice- Doesn't come with KitKat- Cameras, even new rear one, suck
Pros:- Beautiful screen- Super responsive- Surprisingly loud and clear speakers- Good, lag free gaming Comment:
I've bought both the original Nexus 7 16gb and this 2nd gen version as gifts, and I gotta say both are solid tablets. Last year the original 7 rocked the market during the holidays. I thought that tablet was fast until I tried this one out. First thing you'll notice is its thinner and lighter than the original. The back has a matte rubber finish. There's a rear facing camera now, which I should note is very basic and nothing to brag about. Once you turn it on you'll notice the beauty of the screen. With comparable ppi to the iPad Mini 2 (324 vs 323), the screen is sure to please anyone who likes Apple's sleek and bright screens. Comparing side by side, not only is the resolution crisp on the 2nd, but the 2nd has a much better colour reproduction now, compared to the slightly washed out colours of the original. Even the audio is better, the stereo speakers sound surprisingly crisp for a built-in solution. In terms of performance its amazingly fast, not as fast the iPad Mini 2 in terms of benchmarks, but I didn't notice any discernible lags during operation so I don't mind the slower speeds. The Adreno graphics chip works nicely too, tried out Need For Speed and its more fluid than with the older Nexus. The person I got the gift for loves it to death as well, so we both highly recommend this tablet. |

ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:Keyboard is always nicer to use for typing
Pros:Good look, price/performance Comment:
Great tablet for the price. Glad I picked one of these up. Runs all my apps just fine, not the best with emulators but that requires some more power so more bucks. |

ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:- No SD card slot.- There might be issues with the speakers if you hold the device in landscape mode, depending on your grip. I usually don't have this problem.
Pros:- Truly outstanding display - not like those lower res tablets with half the PPI of this one.- Cheap if you know where to buy. Got this for $145. Best purchase on electronics I've ever made.- It's the full Android Experience. Google makes sure you get the latest Android version (currently 4.4 KitKat) on it. Comment:
This tablet is insanely good. Despite it not having the fastest clocked processor at only 1.5 Ghz, compared to say the new Kindle HDX at 2.3 Ghz, the tablet performs extremely well. Everything is so smooth as to make an overclock totally unnecessary. Battery life is good enough, the Google experience is very enjoyable, and the overall specs are totally worth $200. If you shop well, you can get this for $150 brand new also, making it the absolute best value tablet on the market right now. |

ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:Camera
Pros:- Screen Resolution- Very Fast- Light- price Comment:
The reality is simple best quality/price that you can find. This this is amazing very fast the screen is superb in 1080p it's a charm. With the proper application it's a very good Ereader. You can't find any tablet that good for the $$$ you paid. The only con i would give is about the 2 camera not very good i will probably never use it. |

ASUS Google Nexus 7 2nd Gen 2GB 16GB 7in Android 4.3 Qualcoom Snapdragon S4 Pro Processor Black
Cons:Power and volume buttons take a little getting used to. They are canted rearward and nearly flush with case.
Pros:Great display, light, fast. USB supports OTG. Supports Qi wireless charging. Dual band WiFi b/g/n. Comment:
This is a very nice 7" tablet. Performance is crisp with a beautiful screen that is easy to read. At under 290gm the unit is light and can be held quite comfortably in one hand. Wide bezel bottom in portrait mode makes it very easy to hold without touching any of the soft controls.Given the price point there currently is no better tablet.Doesn't have a user replaceable batter or a card slot. Given its support for USB On-The-Go, lack of a card slot does not seem that important. |
Bought from NCIX 2 weeks ago & been using it since. It's very thin & light. The screen is excellent - bright, very detailed & clear. The screen is comparable ppi to the iPad Mini 2 (324 vs 323). The back has a matte rubbery finish, so provides some extra grip. Audio is improved from generation one with 2 stereo speakers which put out reasonably loud volume. I have downloaded many apps now & also found the google coordinated experience very smooth (with my nexus 4) & gmail. I am very happy with it. I also bought one for my dad who is also very much enjoying it (& he's picky).
