Cons:I do have a few beefs with this mobo:The yellow plastic bits, it's kind of a gross color. I think they should have just painted them black, or white.It could use more chassis fan plugs. Like 3 more. I can just plug xtra fans into the psu though.

When building my PC I wanted to make sure it was future proof. So I was looking at an matx crossfire capable board. With either lga 1155 or 1150.I also wanted a small, light, pc. Not something that is very awkward to carry. Almost like a lan case. So it had to be matx. I built another PC using coolermasters storm stryker, the thing weighs like 50 pounds. Even though matx may be harder find what you're looking for and a little bit steeper in price. It was worth it!I wired this board into a corsair 350D along with an i5-4570, 8gb of ram and powercolors 7970. So far this board has done everything as expected. |

As you can expect Asus delivers on a quality product, they have a good commitment to keeping things functional, reliable and cost effective without cutting corners.. This is a "Mini" motherboard, so it only takes 6 screws to seat it, instead of 9. I'd recommend it to anyone building a new system! |
I've been using this motherboard in a Corsair 450D and it does what it should normally do. The BIOS is intuitive because it's Asus. The perfect mobo for a first PC.
