Good MB for Win 7
Comment:
Good MB, easily compatible for Win 7. 1 PCI slot is not enough. The USB MB cables should be included with MB.

Top Brand-Great Quality-Economically Priced
Comment:
Same top quality you would expect from Asus. Would have been nice to have one more PCI slot but not totally necessary since the board has great built in features. If someone needs an entry level, low cost board, this is the one for you. The ordering search engine

Excellent Product and A Great Deal!
Comment:
The only issue I have with this and other new boards is the lack of connections for IDE drives. I got this to install in someone else's case and his system had 2 IDE drives. I had to purchase a PCI IDE controller card to make it work. All the new boards are going to SATA only!

First time I've built a computer and this mobo works great. I should have looked into them more before purchasing this one. I could have gotten a better one for the same price but all in all im happy. Will just have to upgrade sooner than planned.

Asus M4A77TD Motherboard
Comment:
Like all motherboards this one does what it was intended for. Installing the chip and fan was quite easy; there are plenty of USB's and PCI connections. You will need a graphic card since this motherboard has no monitor connection. This isn't the best board for a pro but it's good if you want to take you old computer apart and use the junk parts with this board to build a computer with more capacity.

Good board for the money
Comment:
I am using this board with the AMD athlon 620 and I am very impressed with the overclocking possibilities for such a cheap board.I am currently overclocked and stable at 3.43 ghz and this with standard voltage and heatsink.Wow!!Pretty good for a cheap board! It lacks the extra sata connections and its looks kinda cheap but looks can be deceiving!

Like it, but not much room to expand
Comment:
had it for only 2 days , so it's not fair to rate its quality (long term performance). I installed this mobo to a case WITHOUT using risers (poor instruction from mobo supplier). I could get power to mobo but I could not turn on the unit. searched in You Tube and one guy mentioned about using the risers to prevent mobo from touching its metal case, After I did that, it worked fine... good thing that it did not zapp my mobo. No problems installing drivers from mobo supplier. This mobo does not have much room to expand ... but good enough for normal use (MSOffice, internet... ) . I am not a gamer so I can't tell

No support from ASUS
Comment:
This came with a barebones kit. The machine didn't boot. A support call to ASUS was met with a recording saying they would call back. They never did. I replaced the ASUS with an MSI board. Had the same problem but MSI came through by telling me the RAM was bad. I returned both the ASUS and the RAM and now the machine is happily working.

Just Sweeeeet!
Comment:
My first build, and I can say this board didn't disappoint me in the least. Worked flawlessly with my hardware, and ran Linux Mint 8 without fail. NOTE I had an extra PATA HDD in with the SATA HDD, and it booted VERY slow, if you are going to use the board, use only SATA hard drives, and disable the IDE headers in the BIOS and then you will get a good boot speed. My boot was about 45 Seconds to OS, your mileage may vary. Still no regrets, GREAT mobo.

great board, read specs before whining please
Comment:
hi everyone this is an awesome little board,1 ide,2 sata ports,2 ram slots,no floppy which is the best part!!i was fully aware of this because guess what,i was smart and actually read the specifications first,so now Ive got absolutely nothing to complain about.i don't know why other people give a good review and give it 2 or 3 stars, this makes the uneducated and unskilled pc builders look stupid and very immature as well as illiterate because they whine about what they should already know, duhh

Good Board For the price
Comment:
I am an experienced builder and for the money is a great board bought as a bundle with a new quad core processor I opted for a new video card as well. One negative the bundle shipped with only one 2gb memory module I purchased a second one to use the dual channel capabilities of this board I am still completing the burn in process but it has been running for a week now a good sign

Very Happy 2nd Time Builder
Comment:
Everything works and this motherboard has never given me any problems in the two months that I've had it. For my needs, I would have liked to have more than the 2 SATA channels and more than the 1 IDE channel as well. I bought a PCI SATA&IDE Controller Card, and from that I am now able to access 4 IDE & 4 SATA drives. Overall, I'm very happy with the product and I'd definitely buy another Asus board in the future.

Another solid motherboard from Asus
Comment:
Computer build went very well using this motherboard. There was a minor issue with screen flicker but an update on the BIOS took care of that. I would use this MB again in the future.

Third Build
Comment:
Building my own computer finally and this came with the bundle I purchased. This motherbored is definitely great. Don't settle for the on board graphics if you play a lot of video games. I can run counter-strike source on lower settings, but the resoluation at 1024, so it's not very good at all on the on board graphics. Handles videos and all the other stuff well.

Daughters machine
Comment:
For my daughter. I was suprised. It came with a good on-board video but the on-board net card is only 10 100 so if you are looking to tranfer or push a lot of data, this will do, but is not the fastest. It fired up the first time and everytime. Very dependable for what she does to a computer.
