Works perfectly
Comment:
Should have HDMI and maybe wireless built in. It's effective though. Worked well on first boot. |

Great simple Mobo
Comment:
Got this to replace a dead Mobo for my wife. So impressed with it I swapped my workstation for it because Flight Sim X works perfectly on it. Great value, solid performance |

Great Price, Great board
Comment:
This was the first time I have built my own computer...my HP computer's mobo shorted and destroyed the processor, anyway I have a limited budget at the moment but need a good quality computer. I purchased a barebones system from here on a referel from a friend that included this board and an AMD Athlon 6400 cpu. Super easy to put together, works fantastic, no problem installing any of my hardware. Only complaint and its a small one is I wished the board had more 3-pin fan connections. Overall great board! |

I like it
Comment:
This is my first ASUS board, being the MSI fan that I am. This board is great. Not as many bells and whistles as my MSI board, but honestly I haven't found a need to use all 6 SATA slots on my MSI board or some of the other features anyway. Sure this ASUS board only has one PCI-E slot, but with a good video card I won't need two anyway. Onboard sound isn't great, but it works. I wish they had more onboard 3 pin fan connectors, but just hook them straight to the PSU and its fine. I would buy this board again, and this board has me re-thinking my stance on ASUS. |

Amazing value for price.
Comment:
As part of a barebones kit, this is an exceptional deal. All I needed was a decent graphics package on a dual-core system and I ended up with an Asus board, X2 5000+, 2GB of RAM and a 320GB drive in a modest case for less than $200, including shipping and tax! Everything loaded without a problem and the system is a great upgrade from an ancient P4. |

A Great Deal and Product
Comment:
This is my first "Barebones Kit" endeavor, and everything went well...up and running fast. Even added another 2 gb RAM to experiment with 64-bit later. My only problem was not with the motherboard or kit, but with the recommendations of an in-store employee. Unfortunately, they were only a notch above "Best Buy" (if you know what I mean). But I can't wait to build another one! |

Reliable well priced board
Comment:
I had purchase this mobo as a bare bones kit. So far has been running non stop for a month with out any problems now. Went together easily. Had no problems with drivers, sound, video, or LAN. One must keep in mind this is a budget board and they dropped many features to keep the price down. There is no Floppy drive controller. Only one IDE port so you can only support two old drives. There are only 2 SATA ports. There is no chassis fan controllers so make sure you chassis fans can run direct from you power supply. And with only one PCI slot you won't have room to expand in the future. But when your piecing together a sub $300 computer these are all things you can live without. Sure you can get these things on other mobos that are priced about the same but then you don't get the ASUS name and reliability. Overall I am very impressed this mobo and the entire kit I purchased. |

Great Board
Comment:
I've had this board for 2+ months and it works great. I'm running an AMD Phenom 9500 Quad core, with 2gb memory on Win XP. The onboard video works fine with DirectX 9. Good driver CD and manual is understandable. This board is highly recommended. |

Great Motherboard Great Price
Comment:
Been using this motherboard for a few weeks now and so far it has been fantastic. I haven't tried it with a high end processor/video card to see what its capable of, but so far my computer has been fast and has not crashed once. Works great for fairly graphics-intensive games, i mostly play left 4 dead and that runs like a dream! |

Excellent purchase. This is the 3rd mother board I've purchased and works like a charm. Easy to install and no problems. On board video card kicks butt with the 22 inch Acer I also purchased. Works as well as or better than higher priced motherboards. |

Great deal, Great product

Bought two of these to upgrade my kids computers. The delivery was fast, the setup of the processor/motherboard was hassle free and the performance is great. Both of the computers run flawlessly and have great performance! Tossed in an 8600 GT video card and 4 gigs of RAM and every game is smooth and quick to respond. |

Great product
Comment:
Easily installed. Only issues I had was the case wiring was too old (nothing to do with this product). Installed this in a new case, and suddenly going faster than anything I ever had experienced. With an Athlon 64/2 chip, I was shocked with how fast installing Linux went. |
