ASUS M3A78-CM AM2+/AM2 AMD 780V Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Cons:Doesn't like it when you change components frequently as I noticed with a lot of asus boards as the bios freezes, but a reboot or two solves problem, not really a weakness.
Pros:Very stable board, has good features, easy to set up. |

Cons:-none
Pros:-performance-integrated video/audio-stable Comment:
used this board for a basic business system build, great price and features, the integrated video works very well for basic computing, no complaints. Everything works as it should and once again I am happy with Asus's performance and rock solid reliability. |

Cons:Single IDE channel might hamper legacy builds, and the connector interface faces to the side of the motherboard, so you have to press with a force perpendicular to the soldered connectors.
Pros:Good value motherboard with all that you need. DVI was what I was after and this had it. Everything else was just gravy. Comment:
Got this with the AMD Athlon x2 8750 Black edition, and coupled it with 4GB DDR2-800 RAM. For much less than $100, you get a very feature-ful motherboard with DisplayPort, DVI, 6 audio connnectors, GBit LAN, etc. etc. etc. Connectors were laid out quite traditionally and the manual is very clear. Comes with all the cables required, even legacy (Floppy, IDE) ones if you need them. Its onboard Radeon 3100 is plenty enough for Windows Aero features in Vista, even at 1920x1200 resolution; however, it just pumps out the latest games at barely playable framerates if resolution cranked too high. Still, cannot complain for what you get. |

Pros:ASUS. Good Features and Compatibility.
Comment:
I wouldn't hesitate to buy many more of these for budget builds. The 6 satas, 16X PCI E, and 8 GB ram support make this the best econo board with future upgrade abilities. Throw in a Phenom and you have your self a rockin computer. You can't go wrong with ASUS. |
I have built 4 systems with this board with very different setups and none of the people have any complaints and was very easy to setup on all. No problems and we all had this for a year now.
