ASUS M4A77D ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
The rebate system does actually work(previous experience), but all of the little annoyances make a person very aware that they are perhaps being encouraged to give up. And failure to tape or glue that little cutout sticker to the envelope will cause issues! It says a lot for what I've seen of the products, that I bother. Of course now I know which stores will accept that pre-paid credit card.
Pros: -I was impressed with the feature list - all of which works so far.I was really impressed with the build quality, given the sale price of this MB.-Everything is working well with Linux. My 9600GSO graphics card (full length) fits well without blocking SATA, etc.-Having a board around which can be used with lots of AMD processors, older memory, for testing - and has fire-wire, and can even be hooked up to a PATA disk or floppy is useful.-Onboard sound is just OK in volume for surround sound headphones. Since this board has lots of PCI slots (and one has room for a large SCSI card), it's easy to add an old sound card, too. |

ASUS M4A77D ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
No MOSFET heatsinks
Pros: Excellent build quality Comment:
As the previous reviewer mentioned, this board is an excellent overclocker. It's also one of the few boards with parallel and serial ports, and 3 PCI slots. Build quality is excellent. |

ASUS M4A77D ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
The Power Connectors is to the far left on the Motherboard but can be a problem with some Antec Cases Cables are not long
Pros: Overclock well with not problem with BOIS 0701 Comment:
This Motherboard don't come with On Board Graphics which i think is great it unlock and Overclock very well with no problems and take memory really great OCZ DDR2 1200 or 1066 very stable..with a Corsair H50 and a 955 Phenom II BE CR2 3.8Ghs to 4.0Ghz is nothing.. it say its AMD 770 SB710 but when i update the Bois it say AMD 770 and SB750 |
I'm happy that I believed the previous reviewers and got this board. For sure it is obsolete, but the price was right and if it continues to work as it is, then it will be passed on, not upgraded
