Pros: Lots of FeaturesSplashtop Linux OS Comment:
This is an excellent pick for a budget build that has many features and comes with most of the cables needed in a budget build.Asus Express Gate (a.k.a. Splashtop Linux) makes this a good choice for a PC used Sporadically or mostly for internet access. |

Cons:

Pros: solid unit, Asus is a good brand. Comment:
Pretty happy with it, just saw an MSI for $20 less after MIR that will serve the same functions. I can't believe how easy it has become to mount processors - 2mins! DDR3 is up to 1333 so be careful on ram selection. |

ASUS M4A77TD ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
no usb3, MIR goes to the states
Pros: has acc, is affordable Comment:
It worked with my 1090T right out of the box and came with the latest BIOS. CMOS battery placement is OK if your video card isn't too long/thick otherwise you will have to remove your video card to get at the battery. |

ASUS M4A77TD ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
Bios update Required for 6-Core CPU'sLimited Overclocking a 6-Core CPU
Pros: PriceSupports up to 16GB DDR3 Comment:
This is a nice budget board. A bios update was required to recognize the 6 core 1055T, otherwise it was an "unknown CPU" running at 800MHZ. The bios update was painless with the Live update Utility on the driver CD. I think with a 2/3/4 core processor this board may have decent overclocking capabilities, but I could only manage a 10% OC with the 1055T (3080MHZ). I would recommend this board to anyone on a budget, but for enthusiasts I would opt for an 890 based chipset. |

Cons:
Nothing premium
Pros: DDR3AsusWorks Comment:
Bought this to keep the price of a friends build down. Good board so far. Is has everything you need and gives you nothing else. I buy this if i wanted to overclock though. Asus makes decent boards so i dont expect it to fail any time soon. |

ASUS M4A77TD ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
weak structureIDE cables have a very strong smellloose heat spreader
Pros: Lots of features, affordable, wide compatibility Comment:
Asus is my go to for motherboards every time. Upon installation, I noticed that one of the on board heat spreaders was loose, which I found weird. If you use one of the IDE cables that it comes with, you'll notice it smells up the entire room for a few weeks, which is odd. Moreover, I'm very satisfied with this board. Although it's a bit flimsy, it has tons of features for its low, low price. My favorite part is probably updating the BIOS, it's very quick, easy, and safe. Recommended for a budget build. |

Pros: cheapasusmultiple ports Comment:
This is a nice little board, am3 socket makes its a nice mid rang board with some good value, added LPT and Com ports make it good for people with older hardware that still require those ports. |

Pros: Nice software included.140W AMD CPU support. Comment:
Very nice rebate, but if i have another choice, I wouldn't buy it again. I don't recommend this motherboard to the other customers. To buy a board without display Chipset. No VGA and DVI. |

Pros: Inexpensive Comment:
Great board for building a midrange system with. It doesn't come with a lot of frills such as firewire or crossfire but it has what most people would ever need. The bios has loads of tweaking options for those that like that sort of thing. It's an even better deal if you can get it with a rebate. |

ASUS M4A77TD ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
Limited RAM compatibility
Pros: Lots of features Comment:
Haven't had a problem so far. Stands out amongst the other 77-series boards with the ASUS-only features. Be careful when matching up RAM with this mobo and be sure to check the QVLs. |

Great value!
Comment:
I was doing my research, and I know I wanted an Asus mobo as they've never failed me in the past and they are high quality. This is the best value for a DDR3 AM3 mobo without the frills. When I say frills, I mean no on-board video. Note that it only has one PCI-e x16 slot, so you can't SLI your video card, for example. However, if you require a mobo for DDR3 RAM and a good value, here it is. (Also, this mobo is sized smaller than the one I am replacing (I have a mid-ATX Antec case), which doesn't matter to me, but for builders with smaller cases, I thought I'd make note of that. |

Havent ran into any problems with this mobo, bought it as I was trying to build a whole computer within a budget, and it turned out to be a great combo with my cpu that I also bought.Ordering another 4 gb of ram soon, will try to remember to update this then! |

Good Product for the price
Comment:
I paid just over $100 including shipping. For the price its the best board you can get. Didn't notice it does NOT have on board video which is a small plus since that's less stress on the board. i have a 2.6ghz quad in it with 4 gigs of RAM and had no problems. Overall I would rate it 15 of 10. |

This motherboard has worked out great for me. Was able to open up the other two cores on my phenom II X2 550 processor in seconds with its easy to use bios. With an added GeForce 9500GT video card and Kingston 4GB ram this thing is lightning fast and handles any thing i throw at it. |

Comment:
had doubts about this mobo, but it turns out to work well; instant internet is a winner with the kids; would not recognize the video card at install (BFG GTS 250) so I had a black screen; this was resolved after a couple hours of fumbling by inserting an old PCI card, I got graphics, shut all down, switched back to the GTS card and all worked fine. go figure! make sure you check the features, they are somewhat limited. this would prob. not do for a high-end system but is otherwise great |

Only the 2nd reviewer and the Product is gone
Comment:
What the heck? I'm only the 2nd person to review this board and it's no longer available. I must've missed something. Actually, I have no problems. I was originally going to set up a RAID, but since I have Windows XP, and this board doesn't support a floppy drive, I was screwed. Oh well, I didn't really need to do a RAID. This board meets all my performance needs, which aren't really that high. |

ASUS M4A77TD ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:sb 710It would have been nice if Asus rode the unlocking wave longer
Pros:Sata 6ddr3GBLanlots of slots Comment:
If this were SB750 i'd have bought it already. Too bad Asus are shying away from motherboards that can unlock cores. However i'll prolly buy a slower quad core to put in here. I was interested in building on a mATX but this motherboard seems interesting too.Seems to have lots of space for air flow, and does look too bad. O yeah, $80 for asus with ddr3 & Sata 6.I really don't know what else to say. I"ll update more after I get some use out of it. |
you get what you pay for; this is not the most expensive, nor the cheapest board available. I used this for a budget build that i didn't want to worry aobut ever breaking. even if it does, it has asus' warranty
