ASUS M4A785-M Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

I have not bought the board yet, I was looking into another Asus board due to a review left by another user, but I have done my research and saw that Asus has all the needed drivers and installs for this board to be compatable with Windows 7 (64-bit). I will summit another reveiw after buying the board and installing the OS

This motherboard is perfect for me. It has all the features I need, plus some. On board video is just fine, since im not into gaming so much. Bought this because theres still room to expand, and upgrade.

I bought 3 of these motherboards to build system for all my family. Using the latest AM3 socket, this motherboard is perfect for home-business use. Provide 4 slots for DDR2 and native onboard HDMI connection perfect for connecting on LCD TV. System board was recognize by Windows 7 like a charm and no blue screen encountered with any of the drivers provided by ASUS.

Motherboard seemed fine until I tried to play a DVD. Got garbage in the window that was supposed to show the movie. Help desk said it probably wasn't bad video on the board but wrong Codecs. Put a video card in and it plays fine. Had to add the cost of a new video card to the cost of the motherboard.

The packaging proudly proclaims Win& ready, but that must be for 32 bit. I have had nothing but problems with a fresh win7 64 install. Driver issues include the onboard video AND sound. Porblem there is that Catalyst runs both, and it just loathes 64 evidently. When it does run, it is a fine mobo for a small system in a micorATX case. I blame AMD, but ASUS shouldn't shillWin7 until it is proven on their syste, Disappointed in that fact.

Got this bundled with AMD Athlon. Installing this one in my old tower was very easy. I was impressed with the quality of the on-board video card, sound device.The choice for CPU in this bundle was perfect. Works great with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Good choice.

pretty good motherboard for the price (89.97) but does not have a usb2.0 controller and only supports the 125W phenom II x4 processors. I found the on-board graphic card quite adequate. not for gamers though. micro atx format a bit weird.

The motherboard was great out of the box. My only complaint is the on board video is not as great as it should be... I would have liked a better on board card... i may need to buy a separate more powerful video card in order to have blue ray playback.

Overall, I happy with this board with one exception - I never did get the sound to work on this board. I finally bought a sound card and installed it. Also had to updates the codecs, but got got everything up and running.

Got it in a bundle. Make sure you use the spacers for the installation if buying bare bones. I like the fact that it has DVI output - I can use my old but still good monitor. Memory capacity may be an issue in the future.

Works great, but the kit didn't come with CPU fan,and we didn't know it wasn't included with the kit, so would have been nice to know up front that we had to purchase the fan to get it put together.

I bought this product as a kit and am very happy with the product. It wark great and I am enjoy my new computer. The price was good also.

Motherboard works great Kit included Mainboard, CPU, case, HDD, power supply, DVD-RW, Video card, & Windows 7 Home Premium. Great price & value. Only problem, whoever put together the KIT forgot to include the CPU Fan as part of unit instead threw in 1GB video card

This was the first time building a CPU. Instructions were fairly easy. The people at Asus were fantastic. They were very helpful and easy to talk to. I will be building at least 2 more CPU's and they will all be Asus boards. The board works great and I love the features.

I bought this with a combo AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6Ghz AM3 CPU. It's fast and running great. I just wish it had Esata but I will add this feature with a front panel.

Received this motherbaoard as part of a bare-bones package. The advertising suggested this motherboard and the ATI 4350 1GB PCIe video card worked together as a Hybrid Crossfire set-up. In fact they are not compatible in this way. Overall I am quite happy with the entire package but disappointed the video and motherboard do not work in the crossfire mode together.

There is a problem with the software supplied with the board. Four engine requires administrator privileges to install every time I sign on. It is a nuisance.

Works great. On board HD 4200 graphic is decent for general use, just not support hybrid crossfire as advertised.
