Easy to set up, core unlocker & overclock utilities are wonderful. None Pieced out a technique for my dad who hasn't upgraded in nearly ten years and is kind of behind the times, paired this motherboard with an AMD triple three.2ghz cpu, he set it up, pressed 4 and turned his triple core into basically a 贘 quad. Has known as me twice in a week to tell me how a lot he likes this new motherboard, he was making use of my old Biostar, which was a big piece. |

Fantastic motherboard, great good quality, runs cool, and extremely effectively laid out. Was worried when I ordered this, generally with Micro ATX boards they cram every little thing so tight together that the various components dont mix (video cards cover SATA slots, etc) even with some ATX boards, but ASUS did an outstanding job with this 1, the layout was ideal, and it runs cool. Everything was straightforward to install No 1394. That would be a definetly plus, nevertheless, it wasnt a requirement for the consumer that ordered this laptop or computer from me so not a massive deal or a genuine con. I normally go with Gigabyte boards, in truth this is the very first laptop or computer Ive sold with an ASUS board. Not due to the fact I dont like them, its just ive constantly utilised gigabyte, even so this board has met all my expectations, and may well order again, excellent get. |

Working wonderful out of the box, no tweaking important If you drop a large videocard on this board you will cover one of the PCI slots (but hey, you knew it was a modest board when you purchased it proper?) This board is good. I Needed a AM3 board that works great and wasnt high priced. I don't use the desktop a lot anymore, but my socket 939 system was actually showing its age. I got this board with an AMD Phenom II x2 and unlocked an added core with no tweaking, just changed a setting in the BIOS. Using 4GB of G Skill ram that was on the list of operating memory (N82E16820231193).Going to move this entire setup into a significantly smaller case. I have a GeForce 9800GTX+, Creative FX PCI card and USB header and they all fit nicely on here. |

This was a good selection for an affordable enterprise workstation. Only had to make 1 alter in the bios, altering the boot order. Every thing went together with no issues. Came up operating Win7 Pro without having a hitch. PSǘ ports for keyboard and mouse. Driver installer tries to slip in Norton trial-ware. Utilizing AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz, 4GB Kingston RAM. |

Pros:Unlocked SempronCheapIntegrated graphics for general use Comment:
Used this board in two builds. One for my dad and another for my aunt. They didn't need much at all. And it did a great job in unlocking the Sempron processor from 1 core to 2 cores. Great budget board. |

Bios was good, but I updated to the newest version anyways. Lots of room around the CPU insert to play with the heatsink/fan. Sata ports are in a good location no matter how big your vid card is. I paired it with a Phenom II 555 ʃ.2ghz and a 500gb WD black. Boots XP in below 15 seconds. I can't feel of any actually.. I guess I'll give newegg props rather for catering to us geeks. :) I built this laptop or computer for my grandmother in law. All she truly does is play solitaire, suduko and mess about with household tree software. She has some genuinely old socket 423 P4 with 1gb of RDRAM (remember that garbage!? haha). I was like, pfft this has to go! *punches his hand* "Superior Tech!" |

Holding judgment until I get the replacement back, to see if it was a fluke. Holding judgment until I get the replacement back, to see if it was a fluke. Motherboard wouldn't POST 90% of the time, even with only the bare essentials (Memory & CPU) installed. The few times it did POST, it would lockup about 15 seconds right after entering the BIOS. Went to the ASUS on the web support and tried suggested fixes, which includes checking all connections and wiring (all sound), appropriate installation of CPU and memory (yes), running with just the bare essentials to eliminate any conflicts (yes), clearing the CMOS (worked as soon as, but froze in BIOS). |

Board was effortless to put into a gaming cube. Layout nice. Manual simple to comprehend & follow. This is my 2nd laptop or computer I have put together. I applied an Asus board just before so layout was somewhat comparable. I am only making use of this board to surf the net, do a small bit of Photoshop function, listen to music and watch movies on DVD. I liked that there were 4 spots for RAM to be placed in. Some of the boards that I looked at only had two. Extremely responsive. :)Components I utilised:-AMD Athlon II X2 265 Regor three.3GHz two x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor -Crucial 4GB ƒ x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory-Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s three.five"-Nippon Labs Delux three.five" Internal All In 1 Card Reader/Writer with USB2. & eSATA Ports Model ICR-BB-A Lite-On drive with all the fixings and of course I went with Windows 7 O.S.Didn't use the overclock feature so I no comment I did not see any hook up for a 1394 on the board. That is my fault for not noticing the lack of it on neweggs internet internet site. The is always the card slots. Why I gave this 4 eggs rather of five is due to the fact of the comment I put in the "Other thoughts" section. I feel it is an thought that would help newbies. Wish the power plugs on the board were color coded or labeled with a + or - so when you plug your case wires on it you don't get it backwards. That would be a wonderful improvement to take the anxiety away from newbies like me. |

Cons:no HDMI out put, depend on what's your doing, he only got 2 slot of DDR3 ram,bad TV scaling.
Pros:Cheap mobo,AM2+ Soket,DDR3,Raid support,Gigabit lan, Comment:
I bought this board for an HTPC&24/7 download computer. Work fine with an Athlon II cpu and 4 gig of ram, W7 64bit installed on it.I pluged it on my TV with a dvi to hdmi connector and end up with a resolution of 13**x*** (sorry I forgot the exact res) instead of a 1900x1080 with my main computer. As i said still a good board but for the same price i recommend a M4A785-M (5 $ more), have a "better" onboard graphic card, got a HDMI connector, and still support raid. |

ASUS M4A78LT-M LE Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:- 2 dimm for ram (not a big issue...)- Old chipset
Pros:- Small form factor- Really good well build for price- Cheap ! the price is low, but the quality is high Comment:
This motherboard was remarkably excellent, I bought it for a mainstream computer. It detected every component without any problem. The placement of everything is alright good. The only drawback would be, it's base on the old chipset, 7xx. There is the new chipset 890 out, which is better and have a better video card, but this one is almost half the price ! |

ASUS M4A78LT-M LE Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:Only 2 DIMMs slots
Pros:Fast, ASUS quality Comment:
A great overall motherboard. A bit disapointed because of only 2 DIMMS slots. Otherwise a great deal at that price for DDR3 and AMD3 and Integrated video with HDMI and DVI. |
Extremely tiny form factor, Turbo key lets you use your power button to engage O/C mode. Nice Bios with core unlocker. Wouldn't unlock my AMD Athlon II X3 450 Rana three.2GHz's 4th core but no biggie. Parallel port is a seperate connector (not included) Nice board for the money!
