Very sharp images, easy on the eyes for reading text all day.the bezel is nice looking too. If you are used to TN panels this screen will blow you away. The stand is functional but feels cheap and wobbly.Price is amazing for what you get, can't really fault it for the stand. How often do you really move a screen once it is setup anyway? |

Cons:- Little "backlight shifts". These aren't color shifts but seems like the led's light isn't 100% equal at every angle but not a big deal at all in most situations.
Pros:- IPS Pannel !!!- Extremly good factory settings, which is very rare.- Absolutely no ghosting at all even in fast FPS games!- 178 Degree viewing angles is amazing and will make a big difference even if you just stand in front of it.- Seriously at only 180$ once price-matched, gotta be dump to buy anything else!- Finaly a good stand from Asus.- It's LED so less power conssumming and thiner.- Comes with a DVI to HDMI cable instead of only a stupid VGA cable like all BenQ monitors.- Contrasts are way better than TN pannels, finaly I will be able to do precise photo editing with my DSLR camera! Forget the dynamic numbers it's just all bs. Comment:
I had so many monitor and this is the first time ever that I use an IPS monitor and seriously I will NEVER go back to any piece of sh*t TN monitor, mostly considering the price. Hell.. I bought this one for 180$ and a BenQ 24" MVA for only 200$ and that one also blows the **** out of any TN on the market. The funniest is that I sold my 2 previous 24" TN Lcds for 180$ + 200$ so my 2 new ones cost me pretty much nothing haha. |

Been using it for a little over a week now and I must say it's an excellent monitor. Haven't noticed any ghosting while gaming. I was a little put off by the bottom portion of the monitor, but it looks so much nicer when you see it in person. The touch-sensitive menu buttons are definitely a little finicky as stated in another review. No DVI port, only VGA & HDMI, although it comes with a DVI to HDMI cable. Overall all, pretty satisfied with this purchase. |

Pros: Best monitor i have ever owned, no ghosting colours are like night and day between my tn panel and this, black and white are actually black and white not shades of gray. Viewing angles are great. Comment:

Have had this for 2 weeks now and am very pleased with Picture Quality.It needed some adjustment in order to be almost perfect. There is no ghosting in rapid game sequences or fast action movies.The touch buttons are very finicky and take some getting used to..they are like..touchy!!The stand is another story..a slight touch and the monitorwobbles.You can adjust left/right and the angle of the monitor but NOT the height.It sits about 3 in off the desk and I needed to add about 6 in to that to bring it eye level. |
I would give this a 4.5/5 I would purchase it again and have recommended it to others. for the price it's worth every penny.there is some light leak along the bottom of the screen but under normal use you cannot notice it. only if the screen is displaying 100% black can you see it. (ie. blank screen screensaver)very happy with the monitor.
