Cons:Software weak and conflicting with Media Center Windows 7.Remote lame!

Not to bad as long as software is not installed just driver and use Windows 7 Media center software. Much the same with most TV Tuner installs I've tried. ATI 650 PCI-E Dual Tuner same software weak and wonky.But both work excellent with Windows 7 64/32bit Media center PVR awesome share all recorded content on Home network XBOX 360 and Laptops with Media extender.Wireless or LAN. It appears Microsoft has trouble with third party software especially Media Center and PVR software. Has been fixes since Beta release and on going.Drivers for ATI 650 were just released and seam to work great using right now. Not for novices to install and configure. Dave F |
Installation was a breeze once I stopped trying to get the drivers from Asus's site and just let Windows 7 install them automatically. It installed the card and the remote receiver without a hitch.Both the picture quality and CPU usage have been great, compared to my old card that didn't have an on card encoder.
