ASUS Memo Pad HD7 Media Tek MT8125 QUAD-CORE 1GB 16GB Micro SD 5.0MP Cam White Tablet Android 4.2
Cons:not waterproof nor dust proof.

Pros:fast, reliable, long lasting battery, light
Comment:
Main purpose of purchasing was for school, reading ebooks.I compare a lot of tablets at 7". At such price, it's worth buying. it can do anything you need. doesn't bug nor lag for a quad-core. Plus you can add additional memory with a memory card which not many tablet has this feature.Overall this is still a decent devices for travel, school, small business.

ASUS Memo Pad HD7 Media Tek MT8125 QUAD-CORE 1GB 16GB Micro SD 5.0MP Cam White Tablet Android 4.2
Cons:CPU is gets the job done, but don't expect to game on it, some lag, uses Andriod 4.2.1

Pros:Great value, mircoSD slot, great IPS display, decent battery, good build quality, ASUS apps are good, ok camera.
Comment:
This device is a great value tablet. You pay what you get, a decent tablet with some nice features, a great display, but with no real horse power in the GPU side, 1 GB of RAM so multi-tasking might be a little laggy; however if you close all the unused apps this can be avoid, but for $150 it's one of the best tablet you can get. The main use for this tablet would probably for E-books, E-textbooks, media consumption. The expandable storage is a big plus compared the the Nexus 7 (2012).To summarize this tablet is great for general use, but don't expect to be able to play the latest mobile games on the market. However with the ASUS branding behind this tablet, it's probably one of the most reliable value tablet you can get.4.3 is rumored to be released for this device later.

ASUS Memo Pad HD7 Media Tek MT8125 QUAD-CORE 1GB 16GB Micro SD 5.0MP Cam White Tablet Android 4.2
Cons:Lock button too close to volume button. I often lock instead of increasing the volume. Hopefully I'll get used to this soon. Charging through either USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 takes quite a while. 3% increase in battery charge after 20 minutes compared to plug which gave %14 after 20 minutes.

Pros:Good set of native apps and widgets. Fast app switching and good UI overall. Somewhat annoying that there isn't a way to go back to the top of a page like in iOS where you just tap the status bar and you are automatically brought back to the top of the page.
Comment:
Hardware design could have been better. OS and native apps + widgets worked well. I was hoping to use this + a stylus as an alternative to taking notes with pen and paper but the non-fine-tipped (i.e rubber tip) styluses that I have makes it near impossible to write well at a regular speed. I'd have to write almost at half speed for the writing to be legible using a rubber tip stylus. Also charging using USB is slow, plug it in to a wall for faster charging.
