ASUS P5QPL-AM Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- very few features- no Vcore adjustment- no floppy controller- no case fan headers!- Atheros ethernet controller not as well supported as more common brands
Pros:- stable- supports DDR2-1066 RAM Comment:
This board works fine, but the Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L is not only cheaper but more fully featured. The Q-fan setting can only be enabled or disabled, not adjusted more precisely. Also, no PCIe 2.0 with this chipset. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-04-09 06:11 AM |
I like this board a lot, but for some reason Asus designers decided to place front panel connectors well up front of the board. In most cases the front panel ribbon will not reach the connector. It will require a lot of modding to make this thing work, beware.
