ASUS P6T ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- Cooling could be better
Pros:- ASUS the king of mobo brands- cheapest full ATX X58 Asus mobo Comment:
This P6T offers almost identical features with the Deluxe version, but $50 cheaper. Things that it lacks compared to the Deluxe version are 1) not as good cooling - heatpipe only runs from power to chipset, it does not reach south bridge 2) PCI-E slots only supports 16x 16x 1x if all 3 are used 3) some other minor stuff you won't even noticeOne thing I want to point out is the placement of the southbridge. I'm running SLI and the 2 graphics card completely block the south bridge heat sink. |

ASUS P6T ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:PriceNo SAS
Pros:Sli & Crossfire Intel chipsetAsus quality Comment:
Upgraded from P5N32 E SLI to this M/B, and i can't believe that the OS xp did not Blue screen or just keep restarting itself. It changed the ethernet driver and the sound driver. Then i installed the chippset driver restarted the system and everything has been working fine. Great M/B but is any M/B worth $319.99. |

works just fine
Comment:
came out great out of the box tho i had that 12g memory issue everybody was having. i believed i found the cause of it,turns out some of the ram designed for the board has a high fail rate, no issues with the memory controller nor bios, at least for me |

ASUS rocks
Comment:
This board does what is says. If you disable the "Express Gate", it will boot quite a bit quicker. The only negative that I have found is the layout is a bit crowded. The SATA connections end up under the cards which makes access a bit difficult. The board that I received required 3 BIOS upgrades which were easily completed via a USB thumb drive and the included upgrade program. |

ASUS P6T ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Dead ethernet port
Pros:Good board overall Comment:
I got this board two days ago and after putting the system together, I found out that the ethernet port was not working.I did many reinstall and the ethernet port was not detected so I'm going to RMA back to NCIX since I got it 2 days ago.I was expecting this board to be better than my last one. But arriving with a dead ethernet port is not what I expected |

Meh..
Comment:
It's a great motherboard. No issues with ram using 6 1600mhz OCZ ram sticks totaling 12 gigs. all 12 is there. This board has some major BIOS issues though, and it's updated. It doesn't return from suspend without crashing every running application, including explorer.exe. My advice? AVOID. Other than the suspend issue, the board has random little bugs that are so annoying I'm thinking about moving the parts to my old Dell 8400. Don't buy this. I'm not sure about the deluxe or deluxe OC Palm editions, but... yeah. |

Surely one of the best motherboard
Comment:
This is my fifth build (from barebone kits) and the third with an Asus motherboard. Great features and relatively easy to set up. Loaded Vista 64 in RAID 0 with no problems. Easy to tweak and OC. However my board had a defective memory channel A (slot A1 more precisely) and is now being sent RMA to Asus. Asus support so far has been fast and efficient. Problems similar to mine are being reported online. |

Only one downside
Comment:
I've only found one downside I feel I have to mention. I have win7rc installed. To set up quadraphonic sound, I had to plug my back two speakers into the port marked for the center and bass speaker. And to adjust the sound, I have to adjust the settings for the center and subwoofer. But the sound comes out of them correctly in games. They register to games as rear left and right speakers. Could be win7, could be the MB drivers, don't know because all I have is win7 installed. |

Super support. I had memory tming issues on new Windows 7 Release Candidate and I had to call them several times. They responded quickly and knew their stuff. The motherboard has great features and everything works well. |

Took 2
Comment:
First board I received was bad. Was unable to power up even though board lights had power. RMA process was painless, but took an extra week to get setup. Board from Asus worked great, easy BIOS, easy OC, stable, and good features. |

Motherboard works great
Comment:
Pros: After returning two defective boards the third one was a charmer. The first board would not POST and the second had a defective CPU mount. Cons: Had to buy a bigger CPU heat sink fan system. |

ASUS P6T ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:His JMicron Controller (JMB36X)
Pros:Overclocking, Easy Setup Comment:
This is a good MotherBoard but I had a lot of trouble with x64 OS and his JMicron JMB36X Raid Controller, some Random Driver fail, tried many drivers, and tried Windows 7 to be sure, and still have the same Issue. If your not gonna use that XDrive Technologie, this is a good board at a good price, if you want to use the XDrive Tech to speed up your Hdd, I would not recommand. |

Great board
Comment:
It has 10gigs RAM, because I read there are problems with 12 gigs on it, and Intel i7. Also has BFG GeForce 280 and runs like a champ! I am very pleased with this mobo. |

Nice Board
Comment:
This is a real good motherboard loaded with all kinds of input/output. This board has a lot of pros but here's two cons: 1) the manual explains how to create a Windows driver disk when using a raid array as a boot device. I have tried to create a raid 0 with both of the onboard controllers but Vista Ultimate 64 won't recognize either as a bootable volume. So now I've got to check the Bios rev, try it with XP or Linux, etc. to try to figure it all out. This kind of thing can take several hours of time. 2) 6 of the 8 SATA connectors are facing south or sideways instead of up. In my Ultra case, I have to remove a drive bay everytime I want to make changes to a SATA cable. And even after doing this, the SATA cables are kinked into a tight 90 degree arrangement that pinches up against the drive bay when it is replaced. This really stinks, especially with the aforementioned raid problem. Make sure your case leaves an inch or two of clearance where these cables need to stick out. |

Fantastic
Comment:
Received this motherboard with a barebones kit. I have always made my own systems and this MB is the best by far. For you to take advantage of all the features, you have to do alot of reading in the manual. Havent had one problem, my brother inlaw has same one...no problems. The best feature is how easy it is to update the bios within a windows environment. |

A very picky motherboard
Comment:
the cpu pins came bent, but was able to easily fix that with the tip of my nail, but the really annoying part of this motherboard is that its really picky with the type of ram that works with each socket. I bought OCZ 1600mhz (3x2gb) only two of the sockets work with my ram. i suggest you got with the deluxe, this board has too many issues |

I love this board
Comment:
I've never used onboard sound or video on my systems, but this board's audio is awesome. If you're building a system save money on the sound card. This by far the best board I've ever owned. |

almost perfect
Comment:
the software that came with it, is very cool but doesn't seem to work. it advertises that i can control the chassis and cpu fans, and even set them to "smart mode" which will adjust them according to what kinda power the processor, gpu's, and hard drive drawing. and although i can monitor the fan speed and power that the hardware is using; i cannot control them from the P6T's software. |

Overhyped
Comment:
The board works fine and has a good manual. Setting things up in the bios is an obtuse process with poor explanations and hard to navigate. I never got IDE items to show up even tho they worked. They could learn from Biostar |
I relaly like this MB but it is a bit twitchy. When I was first building the rig I had toconstantly reset the board settings for non obvious reasons.
