ASUS P8H77-V LE ATX LGA1155 H77 DDR3 SLI 1PCI-E16 1PCI-E4 1PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 HDMI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Odd board sizeBoard is too flexibleOdd placement of SATA connections, do a BIOS update
Pros:Cheap ATX H77 BoardASUS Brand Comment:
Bought this board to build a PC for a client. This was paired with a Ivy 3570K. It comes at good price for a ATX H77 board, has good features, lots of USB connections, a USB3 header and a good amount of SATA ports. Now normally I find ASUS boards are built solid but I didn't think that of this one. The board seems thin and wobbly. The size of the board is funny so that you dont get to used the 2 or 3 far right ATX mounts to hold the end of the board. So 1.5" of the board kind just floats there. Becareful when plugging in that Power Connector! The SATA connections are also oddly placed infront of the 2nd PCI-E16 slot. Lastly, I found this board glitchly until I did a BIOS update. Overall this board is OK. It works and probably will last since ASUS usually doesn't ship garbage, but not up to par with their usual detail in quality. |
