ASUS P8Z68-M Pro Z68 LGA1155 mATX 2PCI-E16 2PCI B3 SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:No USB 3 PIN onboard.
Pros:PS/2 connector, good for a quality board in enterprise. Comment:
Watch out! There are 1 serial onboard and 1 LPT onboard ('80's!), but no USB 3 PIN onboard, so we can not connect a USB 3 front panel module... , and no firewire too. :-( Not good for a recent casing like Fractal Design. |

ASUS P8Z68-M Pro Z68 LGA1155 mATX 2PCI-E16 2PCI B3 SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Southbridge runs pretty damn hot on mine.
Pros:Feature loaded. Attractive looking. Pretty solid build. Comment:
Reasonably priced board with a lot of features. I find the blue design nice looking. This board had all the connections I could want in a nice small form factor. 4 RAM slots for a mATX board is nice. USB 3.0 and optical output were the things I needed. I don't take advantage of the onboard sound or video though. As I use a video card and an external DAC. So I can't comment on those aspects.I purchased it mainly because the price was right and it fit my build requirements. Plus ASUS has a good reputation so I decided to go for it. |

ASUS P8Z68-M Pro Z68 LGA1155 mATX 2PCI-E16 2PCI B3 SATA3 USB3.0 HDMI Motherboard
Cons:-Could reduce PCI slot and put more PCI-e slots-More USB 3.0 ports would be good (only 2 at backboard and 0 midboard)
Pros:-Easy to install-Nice features, built in eSATA-Good price-Stable Comment:
Overall it's a good board and good for the money.Much cheaper than GENE-Z and gigabyte z68mx.Was looking at Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 as well but pulled the trigger on this one based on eSATA and the 7.1 audio out at backboard. Assembly was easy and so far it's been stable (only 3 days though). Equipped it with an i5-2500K and 8GB of RAM and a 560 Ti and an 120GB SSD. Runs great so far! |
if you're looking for a wicked mATX board this is a great option! mATX is perfect because who likes big clumsy cases anyways, small gaming rigs are the next big thing hahaa
