ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:Not a lot of space between the CPU and RAM SLOTS.

Pros:Fast and with a lot of features.

I had the same problem as Marius_S, I ordered the Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 and it's too large with RAM that is to high like the "Corsair Vengeance Black CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10".I had to switch back to the Noctua NH-U12P and install it with the screws in the Noctua NH-D14 kit. I still had to move the fan 1/4 of an inch up to make room for the 2 sims close to the heatsink. Lucky I have a big case!Since this board is a quad-channel i did not want to put my RAM on the far end slots on each side... and I did not want to return the RAM since it was at a very good price. I also had 4x4GB DIMMs out of 2 Kits of "Corsair Vengeance CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9 12GB" that I wanted to add with the 4 DIMMs of 8GB I just ordered. They are the same height...Conclusion, make sure your RAM is low profile or that your hearsink is not too large.I checked and maybe I should have bought the "Noctua NH-L12 LGA1155/1366/2011"

Cons:LGA2011 prices

Pros:Asus QualityRoom for expansionExcellent Bios

Using a mouse at bios level is so nice.New bios interface is well set up.Coupled with an I7-3930, H80i, I installed this into my old rig with everything that I had. I now need to get more ram, but it is still super fast even with only 4 x 4Gb ram. My SSD went from a Windows index of 7.2 to 7.9 with this board. The ability to run up to 6 fans on this Mobo should work for any system. This board is built for performance. No Bottlenecks.

ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:A big CPU sink (Noctua) will prevent use of some DIMM memory slots. No standard PCI slots.

Pros:Works OK so far, it started from the first try.
Comment:
It works fine. I used a Noctua NH-D14 SE2011 LGA2011 and as consequence there was no space to mount the 4 memory DIMMs as recommended. The slots B1 B2 D1 D2 could not be used.Fortunately the 4 memory DIMMs work fine in A1 A2 C1 C2 slots. ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:a little bit of a learning curve finding certain settings in the BIOS... but thats kind of a given for any overclocker.... takes forever to load the intel Network adapter driver.... so im unable to use internet right after boot up.....

Pros:easy to update  BIOS. Fan Xpert. CPU BCLK works great(for my 3820)! SSD caching! really amazing RAM overclocks! good quality MB heatsinks!

Really wanted a Deluxe, seen it for the right price, and havent seen it that low since.... lol.... other than half the phases and no wifi, this seems to be the same. i actually bought this on Linus' recommendation of Fan Expert and DRAM oveclocking. also when you populate all 8 DIMMs, you can keep the high RAM frequencies, alot of other boards 8 DIMMs need to be tuned down to become stable... I went from a MSI GD45 wich was stuck at 100mhz BCLK, most bargain MBs are sadly..... i love how many 4 pin fan headers this thing has.... 1 for monitoring my waterpump, 3 for triplerad fans, case front fan and back case fan. 6PWM fan power plugs is amazing in my books! its heavy well built MB :)i7 3820 g4.65 1.35V, all other voltages stockTEAM GROUP 4x4GB 2133 CAS10 g 2168 1.5VSwiftech GTZ waterblock. ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:Color (planned a black and white build using a different mobo)BIOS not compatible with i7-3820

Pros:Great priceFull array of featuresLots of sata ports8 Dimm slotsAvailabilityGreat overclockability
Comment:
I waited a month for the Asus Extreme4 motherboard, but after a month of no stick, switched to this board. It is a solid board, with a lot of higher end features. It was however giving me horrible stability issues with my i7-3820, but a quick BIOS update  fixed it like a charm with no issues since. My CPU is OC'd to 4.6GHz and never gets over 61C with Prime95. My only complaint is the butt ugly blue. The rest of my system is a black and white color scheme, as the other motherboard was supposed to be black. Oh well, this does what it says it does, and is cheaper than most other boards.I cannot remove a star for CPU compatability, as intel released the CPU after the board, and a quick BIOS update  fixed the issue perfectly!

ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:Does not work out of the box with i7-3820 and 1st-2nd release BIOS.

Pros:Great features, well-planned layout, value per dollar spent is high.

I bought this board 2 days ago for the following build:Corsair 650Di7-3820 w/ Corsair H100Asus P9X79 Pro16GB Mushkin Redline Frostbyte DDR3 2133I installed everything, powered it on and...... nothing. It sat there with the rather unhelpful QLED code of "AF", and occasionally "65". After reseating, checking for back-posts, swapping RAM, I was about to give up on this board. Then I found a post on the web about adding support for i7-3820 via the latest BIOS. The redeeming quality of this board is the USB BIOS flash feature. It is immensely useful in these types of situations and proved its self quite handy. Once I had flashed the BIOS with the latest version, things were up and running. If you're on the edge about this board, buy it if you can find it around $300. It has great features and longevity for the money you're spending.

ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:- None and hopefully it will stay that way

Pros:- Feature-rich ASUS motherobard- No silly PCI slot- Lots of fan headers- 8 DIMMs for upto 64GB of RAM
Comment:
- So far, very happy with the motherboard. - Though for ~$10 more you can have the Saberkitten board, I did not care for silly armour and especially for the silly fan over the heatsink, just one more thing to go wrong on the mobo.

ASUS P9X79 Pro LGA2011 X79 Motherboard
Cons:The only negative I can think of is new tech so a bit on the expensive side

Pros:Loaded with featuresVery user friendly BiosUsual Asus quality
Comment:
Bought this last week for my new build and I am very satisfied. Took me about 5 minutes after turning the PC on to achieve a nice stable oc at 4.6. Has all the bells and whistles you would expect from a quality board as well. Unfortunately my H80 was so loud at the speed I had to turn it back. Replacing the H80 with an NH-D14, and try an overclock again
