ASUS ROG G751JT Intel Core I7-4710HQ 16GB 1TB+1TB HDD 17.3in FHD GTX970M BD AC Windows 8.1 Notebook
Cons:Not very portable, large battery.
Pros:Boots fast, very responsive. Comment:
Almost a month in and I haven't had any real problems yet. It handles everything I have to throw at it so far. Although I'm not a hardcore gamer, I get on to Diablo 3 and League of Legends at optimum settings without issues. Maybe it's just me but I seem to trip the dvd eject button often. |

ASUS ROG G751JT Intel Core I7-4710HQ 16GB 1TB+1TB HDD 17.3in FHD GTX970M BD AC Windows 8.1 Notebook
Cons:Fairly heavy
Pros:Extremely fast, almost completely silent Comment:
I've finally settled into my new G751JT and I'm loving it so far. It replaced my aging, but still awesome, G74SX. 16GB RAM is perfect, BDROM, GTX970m runs everything I've thrown at it maxed. The HDDs, dual 7200RPM 1TB drives, could stand to be "better" (SSD?) but that's the only real "issue" I have with the machine and it's one that can be easily remedied. Overall it's an absolutely gorgeous machine with a ton of horsepower. |
This is a wonderful laptop and while its not the highest end performer it will easily play any game you want at great frame rates and quality. also side note, this screen is aparently 75Hz. I did not find that not anywhere. also this screen is better quality than my ASUS VE248Qs. Dont know how they managed that. The only downside of the laptop is the size and weight but these attribute to the cooling performance, though with the size i would have liked a bigger battery, you wont get much, if any, "mobile" gaming out of this. And now for the horror story, i had to send this in for repair at one point, i wasnt too worried because i heard asus had one of the best rma programs out there. its now been a month and i still don't have it back. 5-10 business days... yeah right. so just hope that this was a fluke and im and outlier. other than that its a great laptop.
