This model has longer battery life than 11.6 or 14 inch version of Vivobook (maybe an hour more). This one lasts about 4hr 30min under moderate use with wifi-on. Unlinke 14 inch model, this one does not have SSD cache. HDD can be quite slow just like any other 5400rpm laptop HDD. But it can be upgraded to SSD (7mm thickness). I find touchscreen useful when scrolling instead of using touchpad. |
This is a good compromise between an ultrabook and a laptop at the particular price point. The i3 processor is fast enough for most tasks and there is ample storage. Only caveat is RAM is not up-gradable. The HDD maybe swapped out for a 7mm SSD.
