Cons:Unit doesn't fold flat (no biggie). Lid is a bit heavy feeling.
Pros:Solid chassis. Dedicated and integrated video card. Massive hard disk. SSD cache drive speed things up. |
Bought this for a friend and set it up and tested it. The LCD screen works just fine with the glass going edge to edge while the lcd underneath in about 1/2 inch in from each side. The unit feels very solid and, after setup and few reboots, the unit starts in blazing SSD like speed. The 1TB drive comes with 4 partitions but the only visible one uses the vast majority of the drive (thankfully). The SSD comes partitioned into two part - a 6gb and a 13. Neither is visible to windows explorer. The notebook will not fold flat but goes to about 150 degrees which doesn't make the touch screen super functional.The video care switching is seamless and unplugging the power doesn't even cause a flicker.
