ASUS UL30Vt-A1 13.3" Notebook Computer (Silver)
Cons:processing is a little slow, but that is to be expected for such a long-lasting battery (still faster than an Atom cpu at least). I received one with a loose key however, which is making a slight rattling when I type. I plan on getting it fixed eventually but for now I need it for school (I would assume this is not common, as I have not read any other complaints about keyboard problems). Does not come with Windows disc unfortunately.
Pros:long battery, nice design, light weight, does not show fingerprints on lid (only shows them around edges of screen), lots of storage space, decent performance considering the battery life (better than a netbook by far) |

ASUS UL30Vt-A1 13.3" Notebook Computer (Silver)
Cons:With the model I have right now, pressing the button that's supposed to change the video cards doesn't do anything. The hard drive is also defective.
Pros:The laptop itself is amazing. Brushed sleak aluminium finish, 210M graphics card, etc. Comment:
Great laptop for anyone that wants something portable and can still do gaming and HD videos. It's less than one inch thin, and it's LED backlit so it has really good battery life. |
Great for students! The best part is being able to leave home without the power cord. Using only the "quiet office" and "battery saving" plans (out of the 4 different power plans in the Asus software) I have literally ran it for 10 hours on battery! I like that Asus had the hard drive pre-partitioned already (about 115gb for windows partition, and the rest for a data partition).*facial recognition software doesnt work too well, but that is likely due to the fact that the webcam is only 0.3mp
